I have definitely not lived my life to its full potential because of ocd , but thanks to your posts and reading lists I feel that I will be doing in the future. I can’t change the past wasted years but I can moving forward with this knowledge . Thank you for making these videos 😊

How to be able to hold a conversation normally (not related to OCD) with your partner while the guilt simmers in the background? The physical anxiety makes it difficult to speak sometimes, so that all you're doing is basically being hyper vigilant about not breaking. And it's more difficult when you can't have a poker face and the anxiety is kind of visible...

Hey Gioele - we will want to lean into the possibility we won't be able to 'keep it together' for the time being, potentially fear of rejection, and potentially fear of looking mentally ill. Wearing that discomfort is key.

I experienced the same thing today. I panicked and I couldn’t hold back the tears. He asked me what was wrong, and I said I have a bad migraine. Having a poker face in the outside while you’re in a full out war on the inside, is very difficult.

I’ve noticed that if I’m having a real crisis I can dismiss ocd easier or if I am ill it’s like I don’t have time for ocd . Equally one trigger can neutralise another one . Tends to be worse when I’m happy eg have more to loose
