How to remove the radio (and climate control panel) facia from the 2004 Chrysler Grand Voyager 2.8CRD.
This includes the Becker RB3 radio commonly found on these models.
Also commonly know as the Dodge Caravan in other countries

Thanks for this video... I am learning about these radios as I have one in my 2005 Dodge Ram with Nav. What type of Bluetooth adapter do you use? I am researching different ones... what capabilities if any do you loose when you connect the Bluetooth adapter? Thanks again, AJ

Hey just wanted to thank you for showing the antenna cable and talking about how hard it is to pull it out. I watch some other videos before yours and it did not cover that part. I just couldn't believe how hard I had to pull on it and was afraid I would break it until I saw your video. Thank you!

I'm afraid it just does not. Mine appear to be just white paint on top of black plastic, not molded light guides for the light to shine through. Which would be a really trashy cheapskate solution from Chrysler but...

Hiya, so yes I took the radio out, I then had to remove the rear quarter panel where the amplifier is and I ran a bunch of wires from the new head units all the way back to the amplifier, bypassed it and wired direct to the speakers. It's a fiddly job but not too difficult. This is a common problem due to the amplifier on the CGV's being turned on and off by a CANBUS signal which is sent from the factory radio, therefore when no factory radio is fitted the built in amplifier won't turn on.

My 2006 Chrysler Town and country look exactly the same except it was built for driving in America. The other difference is that there are no screws at the top like the two you removed first. Any suggestions?

Cheezy Truth Seeker oh that's odd, take a photo and post it and might be able to figure it, otherwise I think I'd use something flat but not sharp to try and prise the top of panel out

If you install a different stereo can you still use the DVD player? Or does that run through the original stereo..

it's so odd looking at this from a right hand drive configuration. On us models we don't have to the top screws at all. just clips. But then we have the top that separates due to heat over time.
