--------
In this clip, Chuck D shares his thoughts on Lord Jamar saying that Eminem is a guest in hip-hop. Chuck explained that he believes the arts should be shared, but adds that people should put back into it what they take out. He also spoke about the importance of music to Black culture, which he explained has always been a form of communication, even if they had to communicate in secret. To hear more, including Eminem fighting against "Elvis-ism," hit the above clip.

I get it, he's craving his flowers ... I honestly believe that,if the fans opinion on him weren't so negative he'd indulge in less self praise. I give him credit though, if this planet is still here and humans still exist in a thousand years from now, watching Glad interviews would be like reading chapters in the Bible, except they will be seeing and hearing the people's first person accounts of events and not something written from the perspective of an observer that's been translated from a text written in a language no longer spoken where there's no clear translation tool.

@@EdwardRicketts1 I definitely agree. What Vlad is doing for the culture is phenomenal. I wouldn't tune in if it wasn't. And I honestly believe he does this for the betterment of the culture. I just think he gets delusional at times when he claims people love to hear him speak and give opinions. To me, the interviews when he speaks the most are the ones I like the least. I like when he asks interesting questions and let's his guests take if from there

Urban Atheist ok let’s get the facts correct if you listen to his lyrics. And you do listen to his lyrics right? Ok he said Lord Jamar better leave him alone or he will walk up in the house THAT HE (saying that it’s Lord Jamars house NOT HIS) And he would put his feet and make himself at home (in which a guest does). NOW in the song “I Will” Eminem said that he never claim something that wasn’t his (still getting facts straight if you pay close attention) and stated that Run DMC Kool G Rap and Rakim who are part of hip hop (now where did Eminem claim himself not a guest in that? I say again GETTING THE FACTS STRAIGHT) and then said in the interview that he never claimed that he wasn’t a guest. Here’s your facts. If you can prove otherwise he said that he wasn’t, post it....if not, shut the fuck up and learn how to pay attention to certain situations before you post something without proof behind because that makes you a BIAS BITCH!! MIC DROP!

Typically infuriating. I wish Vlad would park the self promotion when interviewing others, especially someone of Chuck D's stature. It's just basic respect: the first rule of interviewing is it's about the subject, not the interviewer.
