I know Bee Stinger personally and he's a real sweetheart of a fellow who would give you his last even at his own detriment. What Bam did to him is very disheartening. But long before you had former child actors Todd Bridges, Corey Feldman and Corey Haim (RIP) ringing the alarm. Now with Orlando Brown and Jaguar Wright dropping it the proverbial cat is way out the bag.

The thing that I hated that happened because of the revelations exposing Africa Bambaataa was it completely eviscerated his broadcast on the early history of hip-hop, where he would play sound of live hip-hop shows well before any of them had records. For someone like me who grew up in Washington DC and lived in breathe the gogo experience of the 1970s, it was very similar and sound and war texture that the music of hip-hop lost when it started getting on records. Even when the sound was obviously recorded on a cassette tape with all of us artifacts, the music came through, and he was the only media that was regularly playing. These types of sounds. With his legal troubles, that show and his recordings of that music is probably somewhere gathering dust.

Bam has to be held accountable for his actions. It was a violation in the name Justice and Hip Hop. A travesty against the youth embracing the culture. Growing up in the 70s a guy known as Slick was one who brought everything cool to our block. Clothes, music, graffiti, slang etc. My knowledge of the "Sacred Crates" was learned watching him make tapes in his house. Slicka was responsible for my love of music today. Shout Out to Soundview and Cozy Corner.

Younger people have to realize we lived in a different era back in the 80s. Homosexuals were in the closet. Things weren't as transparent as they are now that everyone out of the closet. Bam needs to be held accountable for his actions today! But for all the people who were around, in their defense many may not even have known if the victim didn't tell.

There are no coincidences...Kanye definitely heard about it and felt some kind of way about it...which prompted him to see how his hip hop elders feel about his antics. Kanye use to be real big on how he's perceived by those who he deem will legitimize his art but now he has since stopped caring...which is a ultimately what you want but the extreme of it is very dangerous. Which is where Kanye is now. He's so self centered that he doesn't even consider his voice and how it effects everyone listening to him.

First of all, I'd like to say that I enjoy yo' channel, fellas. Y'all are doing a great job. Now, Afrika Bambatta... Are we shocked? He's 60+, has no wife or children. Hell, he doesn't even have a girlfriend. In our community, that usually means 'something.' That's ugly and ignorant, but this is what I've seen, historically. I'll throw myself in the lion's den. I'll be 35 pretty soon and I'm single and I have no children. Am I g..? I'm definitely not, but I wouldn't get all bent outta shape if somebody assumed. Not too long ago, my dad and I had a lil' conversation about that. He said, _Chele, you like girls, huh?_ I was like _No, why?_ He said _Why you ain't got no man or children? I used to stay chasing yo' lil' boyfriends away. Me and yo' mama want some grandbabies._ He was like _You just chillin', huh?_ And guess what? I didn't get all bent outta shape about it. Anyhow, what happens is we go by what folks *LOOK* like and how they *CARRY* themselves. If you ain't walkin' around w/ a limp wrist or just actin' hella g.. then nobody will know. In that community, they have a term called _'straight-acting.'_ If you carry yourself like a normal man then who's gon know? It's called _getting down._ They make excuses like _I only did it a few times because I was young, drink or high_ or _I'm not g.. because I still like girls_ (as if bisexuality just doesn't exist). I'm sorry, Unc, but I still believe that folks are born w/ the spirit of h0m0sexuality or bisexuality. Often times, we confused action v. attraction. Just because you don't physically engage in same sex relationships, that doesn't mean you're not g.. or bisexual. Now, when you get into the ped0 thing...well... Hassan Campbell is a tricky situation. He's a tricky situation because he embellishes his story whenever it's convenient. If what Afrika did to him was so bad then why do they have several pictures together as adults? Why does Hassan still consider him a 'father?' That alone sounds very strange. Now, according to Hassan, they were fooling around from 13 to 17. Before that, Hassan stated he was m0lest3d previously. He didn't give a specific age when it started, but he definitely gave specifics regarding Afrika. I'll give you a pass up 14. After 15, you know better. I'm sorry, but that's just the way I feel. Every 15 year old knows what's up. I've always believed Corey Scott Feldman's story/stories. Nobody ever says a word when they're on top of the world and the money's flowing. You just sorta go w/ the flow. Soon as Hollywood's done w/ you and it's time for that new wave of artists, that's when the stories come out. It's always happened that way. A lot of those children (hell, adults too) are propositioned w/ sex for ritual or initiation purposes. _If you do _*_THIS_*_ then I can make yo' dreams come true._ And then, the ultimatums. You know, that kind of thing. Lawd, *the dress.* I'm glad you spoke up about it, Unc because way too many brothas were in them dresses. I did a search to see if other races of mainstream men were wearing dresses. I couldn't find Fat Joe in a dress. I couldn't find George Clooney in a dress. I did, however, find Em¡nem in a dress. Go figure. I just saw a lot of brothas in dresses and it didn't look right. Puff Daddy couldn't wait to wear that skirt. Go figure. Oh, and those dresses are ritual/humiliation practices, FYI.
