This song by "Cilla Black" was released in 1963 and was her debut song and was written by Lennon/McCartney.This song did not do too well in the UK charts as it only reached number 35 but i think its quite a good song.

I think this Lennon & McCartney song is a very under rated one and should have greater recognition in the Beatle duo’s early song writing catalogue, along with the hits by Peter and Gordon and Bill Fury.

Yeah, it did not even get in the top 30 at first release! The one Lennon-McCartney song that did not do that in the 60's. 'Love of the Loved' was played by the Beatles at their Decca audition .

LOVE OF THE LOVED pieseň CILLY BLACK, ktorá bola ako debutový singel speváčky v UK rebríčku šesť týždňov od 17. oktobra 1963 a skončila na 35.m. Autormi piesne boli Lennon/McCartney.Pieseň bola vydaná 27. septembra 1963, kedy Cilla vystupila v televiznom programe Ready Steady Go. V decembri 1963 Cilla vystupila vo vianočnom programe Beatles vo Finsbury Park Astoria v Londýne.

+Rex Modem This pic is from the promotional party to launch the band Grapefruit in 1968. The Beatles had just set up Apple Corps and were seeking new talent to invest in. Grapefruit were one of many acts that failed to live up to their potential and soon disappeared without trace. The Beatles were able to use their considerable influence to rope in Brian Jones, Cilla Black and Donovan (top row, second left).
