[Introduction] Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace is a Chinese television series, also known as Palacial Dramas, based on a novel, Hou Gong Ru Yi Zhuan, by Liu Lianzi. And it's also a continuation of a story, named Betty Sun. The series chronicles the marriage of Qianlong Emperor and Haifa-Nara, the Step Empress from 1736 to 1766.

There are a few others. Ruyi and the emperor's relationship when they were kids and young lovers. Xouxin and the doctor. One-sided -- the guard that saved Ruyi's life soooo many times, but was made into an eunuch due to the emperor's insane hypocritical jealousy :'(

Hailan is so fragile when she become a Concubine. She's so scared when Ruyi is in cold palace. As if she's a little kid lost in the Forest. But, because of that, Hailan become stronger to fight back for Herself and for Ruyi. I want a sister like that. And in the novel, when Ruyi died. You will cry and touched by her words. That her body lived, but her soul died with her.

I like the Character Concubine Yu from Ruyi's Royal Love, always focused and very resourceful. In Yanxi Palace Noble lady Yu is weak and always need someone to save her, but eventually she gave a final blow to Consort Chun and fell along with her to save Consort Ling, in both stories they are truly loyal to others.

@@destyniiskywalker She had the doctors give Hailan double the dose of medication so that her appetite would increase and her stomach would get stretch marks and she would fall out of favour with the emperor due to the stretch marks, she also would have a larger sized baby and make it hard for her delivery, So almost killing her by haemorrhaging

我倒是覺得遺傳基因本就不良，生下來的都是容易體弱多病體質，偏偏那時代醫療有限，不是從乾隆時代就這樣，而是一整個大清時代都是如此。
