Cindy Ashton has been selected to be the 2022 recipient of the Invisible Disabilities Association’s Invisible No More Perseverance Award. Cindy has been chosen based upon her amazing perseverance and courage as she lives daily with the pain and trauma of multiple chronic illnesses and invisible disabilities, some since birth. In spite of the often overwhelmingness of Cindy’s struggles and lack of understanding due to the invisible nature of her pain and illness, she is determined to share her story publicly, with all of the struggles and triumphs and to help many others on their invisible disability journeys as well.
