Last, but DEFINITELY not least for this year’s leg of our What’s Underneath: Defying Ageism series…. Meet Cindy Gallop! What happens when we zoom in on our society’s internalized misogyny around the taboos of how we choose to love (or not love)?
Is coupling up, getting married, and having kids all it's cracked up to be?
Founder of Make Love Not Porn, a platform for real world sex videos that redefine how we think about sex, Cindy Gallop believes it’s not.
Having tossed patriarchal oppression in the trash, Cindy’s video inspires us to:
~ Question the status quo around what older women are allowed to wear and redefine “rules” when it comes to dating, relationships and f*cking.
~ Start asking ourselves what would TRULY make us happy when it comes to marriage and kids, and make decisions based on our needs versus societal expectations.
~ Separate real world sex from porn, and kickstart an open conversation in everyday life about sex and intimacy.
Cindy’s aha moment came in her 30’s when she realized that she - and most women around her - lived their lives searching for “the one.” When she finally quit looking outside of herself to feel complete, she realized she was complete all along. At 61, Cindy is the living definition of free: she chooses to date younger men for sex, regularly thanks the Lord that she didn’t have children (“Halle-f*cking-lujah!”), and she can’t wait to die alone.
If you agree that facades separate us and being radically honest brings us together, please take a moment to subscribe to our channel and share this video with any friends or family who could benefit from feeling less alone in their journeys with mental health. Don’t forget to click the bell so you’re aware of every time we upload a new episode.

@@cosmicsprings8690 I agree with the sexually active lifestyle not being a good role model for young girls to grow up to be but I also cannot takeaway from the idea that just because we start aging that one cannot enjoy looking good for themselves. I don’t think young people realize or ever think how isolating it can be at times for folks of a certain age to all of a sudden be treated like they are invisible. Her wanting to dress up and look good for herself reminds me of people like Madonna that still has the motivation and drive to live up her time still being alive and living in however way/ shape and form that makes her feel the most beautiful/confident in her self and gives her joy🙂

But as a “childless” woman I could tell you this: you could have lots of kids (through birth), they grow up and leave. Being ALONE vs being LONELY - you could still be lonely and alone with your kids or husband in the same home. However, when you are on YOUR OWN, you will not feel lonely or alone if you do something you like, sports or passions and adopt animals for company. It makes zero difference HOW OLD YOU ARE, YOU MUST FIND HAPPINESS WITHIN YOURSELF.

And the main chick that owns this comment, don't make decisions based on what a 61 year old says cos she's on camera. You don't know what she faces in real life. You are young and get the most attention now but you get older and you become a woman that men only want for sex which is sad and lonely. Your perspective is upside down unless you mean " old soul"...I can say this as your "polarity" 😉. You're young by even indoctrinative generalization. This bitter tubby referred to my chronological age as "old" as she passed away of a heart attack a year ago. It is your state of consciousness that defines our view of This World if weak minded/low Spiritual vibration that Powers the Soul Fractal in this dimension of space/time when physics tells us they cannot exist. Pray to big G AllSource Creator whom NONE can see as all lower frequencies are vaporized when perceived closer yet IS the Emotion of LOVE to send the Holy Spirit to disclose your identity. It will feel as a recovered amnesia (how I would discribe it as this I corralated to Jesus telling us " the truth is within you already, as IF written on your hearts"....yup, kinda just like that. BTW I"m not Religious nor could be fooled by the illusion of this world as the indoctrinations pre-set for us by Neg Energies reminds me of the lower g "God" of this world prepping us to perceive ourselves deserving of an unjust set up when he split us to female/male in " the garden of deception" IT has been shown to me but long story.

I respect this woman's personal life choices. My personal reaction, as a single mother and the only one providing for my daughter for all her 7 years, has become: (1) I do not feel nourished by sex outside the context of genuine and holistic friendship, which is difficult to find, and I'd rather be alone than share with someone who just wants something from me (2) men should be paying for casual sex but if you're being paid for casual sex it's going to mess you up, so it's a catch 22. There are long- term psychic, emotional, and spiritual consequences from both paid sex and casual, body-only based only sex (3) Even though we can't expect young people's first sex encounter to be with the person they spend the rest of their life, I want my daughter's first to be in the context of a respectful loving relationship and for her to have a good sense of her only pleasure before she shares an experience that will likely try to inculturate her into believing pleasing the man is her pleasure when it is not. I didn't start off with these opinions. Life experience has brought me here. The difference between myself and the speaker is that I am a mother who has chosen not to let men into my life for sex. I don't think I'm anymore lonely or any less healthy than her though. Quite the contrary.

Girls at a younger age should really think about if they really want children or not & be prepared to be a single/divorced mother as that's what ends up happening for most of us. We tend to romanticize it too much without thinking of the real hardships that will surely be involved. It's been hard for me with no emotional or financial help all these years so I really hope young ladies will think long & hard before committing to having children. Even tho I love my daughter's if I had to do it over again I would have just adopted 1child in need of a home as so many are in foster care. Thank u for raising awareness 💜

She is bitter about getting dumped by her boyfriend in Oxford. She also has a very bitter and angry tone. It's ok if she doesn't want kids but she bragging about banging young dudes like it's an accomplishment. Overall she sounds like she is coping hard. I am not very fond of the idea of how much of our society pressures people of a certain age, especially women into believing they have to settle for a partner otherwise life is thought of as being meaningless or not lived to the fullest. There’s a lot of expectations that come with women also having to act and behave a certain way just because they are married. But iam also starting to see a lot of changes in a lot of younger couples now where there’s more equal roles being shared in taking care of children as well as allowing mothers more freedom to have a life outside of the home😊

This is deeply unfortunate because what this means is every social event you go to, 'will he be there?'. That means that you spend bloody hours glamming yourself up, worrying about how you look, what you're going to wear. Take it from me, at first you will be deeply saddened and heartbroken to walk away, BUT it gets better in time, I promise you. Better to alone and happy than be with someone and always experiencing anxiety, worry, stress and anger. If these emotions are constantly activated while in a relationship, it will break down your physical and mental health. Not worth the time and hospital bills. For fucking real. If you’re really invested in this relationship and still want to save it, then I would suggest couples therapy as a last resort. If they say “no way” to the therapy, THERE’S your answer. Seriously. Inspirational for me because I was in divorced since 2008, never went back to any relationship because I was afraid to get hurt again and afraid to feel naked in my own skin. Thank you for prying up my shell a little bit.

It's amazing how self-aware she is. Wonderful, beautiful. Thank you Cindy for being so open and sharing that with the world. That's so inspiring, especially for everybody also on a journey of self-discovery. She is really spot on regarding some of the myths of s*ciety. And the way she has put them into words has been quite brilliant. I learned some new stuff from this video, from her journey. Thank you so, so much.

I need more of this woman in my life. I actually cried when she said "Your body is hot as hell because it's yours. Live your life , don't give a shit about what other people think". My ex once said to me that he was less attracted to me because of my weight gain. Obviously that relationship had to end, but it has led to some insecurities when the person you love says that about your body. Everyone needs more Cindy Gallop in their lives.

Yes but due to biology both men and women are attracted to healthy bodies that will substain procreation

Typical female.. so you want someone to tell you pretty lies over truth. This doesnt someone has to be cruel for the sake of it.. but this woman is delusional. There is an objective standard for beauty and younger women with slender, hourglass figures, which is a sign of fertility in a woman, are what men find attractive and desirable. Nobody wants to see a lumpy, post-menopausal 61 yo woman like her dressing in a short skirt or half-naked. What happened to common sense?!

@@hv3115 then how does she keep pulling younger men? everybody’s got a kink bud, nothing wrong with that
