When the student is ready, the teacher appears (to appear). No matter where answers appear to come from--your mentor, a book, your friend, enemy, dog, or a tree--ultimately, they come from within, from your Self.
You have never had a teacher, even when you thought you had one. You don't say, "Yes that's true," until YOU say it. The only teacher is within, and until you realize that, you imagine teachers, and that's okay--because it's still you. So ask away, because the Truth is available, here and now.
