I have to think that the misinterpretation of the Course is a part of our awakening that will be gradually dissolved and unwound as our inner guidance clarifies and we disidentify with our egos. The other thing I feel particularly strongly in listening, is that our faith in ourselves in our role in bringing the Course to the world is so important - even if the symptoms are not there yet visibly for us in the external world, it is happening and it is magnificent. We don’t need to see it succeeding to trust that it is 💛 Thank you for bringing these subjects into our conscious awareness so beautifully 🙏✨

I think the intense interest in NDEs among some people shows an intense hunger for spiritual truth. I think the beautiful teachings of the course could be super helpful to many people 💛🙏

Yes!!! Yes!! And a resounding yes! I have studied numerous “spiritual” paths. One day in January I prayed to Jesus to show me how to use and combine all of these teachings. He lead me to you the next day. The ACIM CE edition does encompass all the universal truths that other paths talk about. So, here I am. “I am here Holy Spirit.” I have seen this Temple too. Do not loose hope.

Now for my 2nd comment. A message that I hear from Jesus throughout ACIM's teachings and now the "helper of the world" (a message I didn't know existed until watching this video) is...No worries. This time I've got this. Therefore, as YOU and I are ONE, YOU too have this. After all, this is NOT our first rodeo. We've been here and have done all of this before. This time, [I wonder how many "this times" there has been] with the help of a couple of scribes, Jesus wrote the book himself. He made sure that it's contents were exactly what and how he intended them to be. He made no mistakes and made certain his scribes didn't make any mistakes. And that's exactly what he tells us in the "helper of the world." However, in this special message, he begins his message by letting us know that he didn't fail; the dream is over, he got us all back to our Father. "It is done...hell has gone by. I did not fail. I brought you all unto your Father, out of hell forever. [Jesus knows we aren't going to fully believe him] "You will realize this gradually [what is gradually to Jesus], for you could not bear to hear all that this means now. This year it will gradually unfold [what is a year to Jesus?] and by the time the year has ended you will wonder why you ever doubted. "I cannot tell you more than you could bear without fright, and if you knew all that was prepared for you, you would indeed be frightened. [Whoa! I can't imagine] Now I tell you only this, for this you can believe." From lesson 158: "Time is a trick, a sleight of hand, a vast illusion in which figures come and go as if by magic. Yet there is a plan behind appearances that does not change. The script is written. When experience will come to end your doubting has been set. For we but see the journey from the point at which it ended, looking back on it, imagining we make it once again; reviewing mentally what has gone by." I can imagine Jesus gearing up and setting his all encompassing intention for ACIM. From the special message: "This time there will be no failure no loss of truth, no misunderstanding, no misinterpretation. [Jesus is in complete control of the dictation he's giving to Helen. ACIM isn't the Bible 2.0 with numerous contributors] I will direct it's growth as it reaches from the paper on which it was written into the hearts for which it was intended. "Be comforted by this: It will be impossible to make any mistakes in its connection which will endure. I am watching over it with all the care I have for all my brothers in salvation. I understand what it can do for them, and I will make sure that it does it, and does it perfectly." [...] "I will tell you everything you need to know, whenever you need to know it. My promises are sure because they are of God. As you are and I am, Amen." Following are a few excerpts from the course. From the intro to the text: This is a course in miracles. It is a required course. Only the time you take it is voluntary. Free will does not mean that you can establish the curriculum. It means only that you can elect what you want to take at a given time. From lesson 42: Your passage through time and space is not at random. [whatever seems to occur in the world of appearances i.e., matter, energy, space and time, is not random] From lesson 135: Without defenses, you become a light which Heaven gratefully acknowledges to be its own. And it will lead you on in ways appointed for your happiness according to the ancient plan, begun when time was born. Your followers will join their light with yours, and it will be increased until the world is lighted up with joy. And gladly will our brothers lay aside their cumbersome defenses, which availed them nothing and could only terrify. From lesson 158: The revelation that the Father and the Son are one will come in time to every mind. Yet is that time determined by the mind itself, not taught. [...] The time is set already. It appears to be quite arbitrary. Yet there is no step along the road that anyone takes but by chance. It has already been taken by him, although he has not yet embarked on it. For time but seems to go in one direction. We but undertake a journey that is over. Yet it seems to have a future still unknown to us. From TM section 9: There is, however, no set pattern, since training is always highly individualized [each one of us in on a path peculiar to us and us alone]. There are those who are called upon to change their life situation almost immediately, but these are generally special cases. By far the majority are given a slowly [again, what is 'slowly' to Jesus?] evolving training program, in which as many previous mistakes as possible are corrected.

I feel several things. In the first place, the Course is not fading in the world. New people are coming all the time and it's growing, despite what can be seen from our perspective. About misinterpretation, I can say that I listen to many teachers, both in Spanish and English, and they are different, even opposite and the discrepancies are apparent, but the Spirit is in all of them, and that is what remains. Thank you. I don't really know if I agree with you or not, but it doesn't matter to me. I love you.

This is really a healthy conversation to have and I very much appreciate you took it on. There are numerous components of your conversation that could be isolated to become topics of conversations in an of themselves. That said, I'm going to add two comments to address two of those components. In this comment I want to focus on what Emily was pointing to when she brought up MacDonald's restaurants and the viability of standardization of structure and systems. In the world of form it is empirical that standardization facilitates and expedites expansion. The world of form appears to reward organization and punish chaos. When everyone has and is operating from a "truth" that is peculiar to them there is chaos. But, when a group of people come together and agree that a particular truth is true for themselves and others, a level of order begins to take form i.e., a new reality takes form; a reality made from agreement. Next thing you know the group begins to organize around their shared truth i.e., they establish a common purpose, common goals, policies, plans, programs, projects, orders, etc., and this organizing around their specific truth serves to deepen the agreement and facilitates the expansion of the group. And in the world of form there is only expansion or contraction, there is no such thing as level. What seems to be level is just an equilibrium of forces. Anything that seeks to remain level will eventually contract. Therefore, for any entity in the world of form, whether it be an individual entity or a group of individuals whatever the size, expansion = survival. Consequently, churches need more converts, armies need more recruits, nations need more citizens, farmers need more acres, manufacturers need more products, schools need more students etc. Furthermore, the larger the group is the more rules, regulations and policies it will need to maintain the integrity of the group and keep it moving in the same direction. Illusions beget more illusions. The world of form is physics. ACIM is metaphysics. ACIM doesn't operate by the same rules as the world of form for ACIM addresses the ONE not the seeming many.

Because what I have been able to learn from Jesus internally is that I have to step aside, that is, let go of everything I have learned, even from ACIM, so that he can give me his own interpretation, and, I know that he speaks to me, of according to my understanding and what I need to learn at that moment. It’s truly beautiful and engaging to watch you both express with such passion and commitment to this message of Unbounded Love, that alone is a gift. But ultimately is ACIM a message of Love, a message within a text that repeatedly seeks to steer our mind(s) to the understanding that all concepts will eventually be laid aside. Where all minds return to the awareness of the unity of Being. And therefore perhaps it could be said that the devil truly can be in the detail. What the course says to me is to see beyond the perceptual world and maintain the understanding that only Eternal Love is Truly Real, and to seek (as tough as this feels alot of the time) beyond all appearances to this Beautiful Truth. Interpretation and over-evaluation can actually be a real impediment to Being the change you seek. It can become back-water of stagnation and yet feel like deeply worthy endeavour. Perhaps that is too strong an analogy, but bringing the course into the world, for me, is about bringing the Reality of the Loving Heart into each moment. I don’t always succeed; I fall way short way too often. But ACIM reminds me, (paradoxically in a personal way) of the impersonal nature of whatever ‘This’ is, and no words can ever truly speak to what Infinite and Eternal Love really is.

I might suggest that the course roughly follows the Tibetan Buddhist organization of one's "Way" in practice in three stages namely; the View, Path and Fruition. The View being the general statement of foundational ideas eg, "That which is real cannot be threatened...etc.". The Meaning of Miracles and so on. The Path is the actual practice of the Course and that is clearly broken down into the two areas that Jesus explains as the 'Vertical' dimension of revelation, which you could tie to the timeless mystical breakthrough into the Mind of God. The "Forgotten Song" is the statement of that awareness. Then the 'Horizontal' dimension of Forgiveness of our brothers - the realm of the gradual entrance into the infinite yet practical awakening to Divine Love without boundaries. While forgiveness happens 'down here' in the realm of duality it is the necessary path to awakening to true and eternal Love in the infinite. Finally, "Fruition" of the Way, commonly referred to as enlightenment when God takes that final step in our practice. Not much can be said about that. I think the difficulty we students face is the rush to Fruition without attending completely to the View which informs the Path. How often do we (or I) breeze past the first 50 lessons of the Workbook without carrying them completely into the next 350 lessons? We hear so often that the Course is holographic yet how often do I forget the interrelated nature of the entire and oceanic understanding outlined in the entire book of the ACIM. To teach the course is to stay grounded in the entirety of the View and the Path then wait upon God's final step. That's His business . Our business is to listen to our teacher; Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Anyway, I absolutely loved your presentation here, which really got me thinking about my relationship with ACIM and my love for our Father the Son (I'm working on that one) and the Holy Spirit's role in my life. We agree that if she were to participate, it's likely the course would benefit ACIM and her teachings would, in turn, be enhanced to, perhaps, a new audience. In my experience the physical place they spoke about then and didn't happen, and what you are both talking about now in this Holy Instant was never necessary in the first place. In my own experience the ACIM cannot be contain in one particular place, it's where we all are no matter where we are...when we are ready & open to be shown we will be drown to where it is found & sharing it by just being in that Now Holy Instant space in our everyday lives.🙏💞 The Voice Is Being Boardcast EverySecond 😇🙏🤩. Thank you both very much for this video and for your work. I'm not sure if you have done it yet, but I would love to see you do a video specifically on Ken Wapnick and his interpretation of ACIM. From what I have read and heard from Ken, he denied being authoritarian about his own teaching, yet he also said that he was not offering an interpretation, he was just saying what the Course says. While that sounds arrogant, in a way he might have been trying to do what you are both suggesting in this video, which is to have a more agreed upon interpretation of what ACIM is and what it says. What I sense Ken was getting at was that ultimately all of our understandings fail when it comes to the Course, because how could any of us fully understand it? Try as we might, we just can't figure it out. So then, yes, what it will come down to is that we will all see the Course differently and have differing interpretations of what it says. And perhaps that is indeed what Jesus intended -- that it would be helpful to any given person based on where they are at in their own forgiveness process/journey. This is not to say that all interpretations are created equal, because as any given individual goes along in the forgiveness process, their understanding deepens, and they see things that they did not see before. Why? The blocks and blinders are being released. I woud like to think that Ken understood this, and that really he was just pointing to the fact that we will get to the point that we realize we don't understand the Course, and we really don't understand anything. Try as we might, we just can't figure it all out. We've used our reason to the point where we have become eminently reasonable, which means honest to the point where we can honestly admit that we just don't know. Only then will we be truly open to the Answer, the glorious surprise that Jesus suggests is waiting for us at the end of the forgiveness process. Krishna in the Gita is similarly elusive -- you don't know which path he's really endorsing: Sometimes he says Jnana is the highest, but then another time Karma Yoga, then another time Bhakti, and so on. Swami Sivananda pointed out that Krishna did that on purpose so that those who feel aligned with any one of those paths would be inspired to follow it more deeply due to Krishna's endorsement. A similar thing could be happening with Jesus' Course. Maybe it just meets you where you're at, until you're finally ready to see what it truly is pointing to...

1. The only way to wait is to wait in the Holy Instant, then the effects are immediate... 2. Our plan, or our take on the plan, is not the plan... 3. Thoughts of purity, or otherwise, are just as meaningless as any other speculative thoughts regardless of the historical context, including Helens predictive notes... How can a future that does not exist be predicted?

Ken Wapnick did start a school or retreat center in upper New York State sometime in the early-mid 1980’s. As I recall it didn’t last long.

The Course has currently gone the way of Christianity except this time through Wapnick and The Eastern Schismatic "Metaphysic" "philosophy".
