Cult is generally led by someone who regards him/her self all powerful and is often leading people into dangerous behavior. CIM doesn't have a central head or leader.

I’ve had some “tomb time”.. It happened to me in 2004. I had just gotten out of the Air Force after serving 10 years. I was in a very low place in my life because of the way a few family members treated me. I drove from Missouri to California to visit a friend. On my way to CA, I was absolutely mesmerized by the beauty of the landscape of our country. I started praying to God, asking for forgiveness for being gay, and thanking “God” for the beauty of the landscape. As I was praying, I started feeling something pulling inside of my eyes. I kept looking in the rear view mirror and realized that my eye color changed from a golden color to what is now a blue color!! I knew at that very moment that God spoke to me, as I had a resounding message downloaded into my brain and heart 3 words, “all is forgiven”. I knew he wanted me to “come out of the closet”, and live my life in 100% truth and honesty without wearing any masks. After that happened I started having synchronicities, such as strange interactions with birds, etc. Some years later I started noticing ghosts around me and at first I was freaked out by them, but a few years into it I became comfortable with them. Now I realize that it’s important to send love to all things around me because likeness attracts likeness and spirits are everywhere. I also catch ghosts, orbs, and fairies on my security cameras and post them to facebook, instagram and tic toc & KZfaq. I started studying NDEs (near death experiences) about 8 years ago. I’ve heard thousands now, and they all say God is real and religions are manmade. When we die we judge ourselves, no one else is judging us except ourselves. 4% of Near Death Experiencers have a hellish experience because we send ourselves to hell because we go where our frequency is. That’s why it’s important to focus on LOVE and let go of judgement. Jesus Christ is real also, and he never said anything about homosexuality but spoke a lot about judging others. Actually his name is Yeshua, but modern society knows him as Jesus. He’s VERY real. 6-10% of NDErs see & converse with him, but the religions that were built around him were ALL manmade. I used to fear “God” and my Southern Baptist religious upbringing, but now I realize that religion is mankind’s attempt to define God but falls short as God’s perfect love is incomprehensible to the human mind. Much Love Mike

I’d like to possibly challenge some “egos” with a quick question. How would a student of ACIM, explain the difference between the Jesus who authored that book, and let’s say, the Jesus who authored the Book of Mormon that the Latter Day Saints ascribe to?

Hi there! Although I’m not a parent in this lifetime, I had a tumultuous relationship with both my parents and I used my dysfunctional background as the reason why I didn’t want kids of my own. My dad left his physical body last year but my mother is still here. When I was a child, my mother was angry, miserable and could be verbally and physically abusive. And growing up, I thought these parenting techniques to instill fear were normal. What I realized in this sermon is I am my mother’s savior. A few weeks back I experienced the goodness in my mother. It happened mind-to-mind first and then experienced behaviorally. To give an example, we had a family wedding over the weekend and when I saw my mother my face lit up with joy. Throughout the night, I noticed I wasn’t getting triggered whenever we spoke. It wasn’t entirely perfect but definitely close to it. And she is someone I thought I could never forgive. She’s 73 years old so I hope over time I will give her the wellspring of love that she has needed her entire life. Love Donna Feldhan from Course Companions❤️

What is your belief in the Holy Eucharist? The body, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus. (People accept in scripture that God came in different forms... The Holy Spirit as the sound of rushing wind, God the Father as a burning bush, Jesus presents Himself to us as often as we desire in the form of bread and wine. The species is transubstantiated. It is the miracle that Jesus is truly there. You may not be able to accept such a miracle in front of you in our modern times but that is why Jesus left it behind for us to Do Always in Remembrance of ME. He really is there.)

The Father felt so strongly about all of this that He sent the pagans to destroy the Temple and erase the priestly line because they continued to sacrifice animals to Him for the remittance of sins and ignore His most perfect son and the prefect sacrifice and His anger was great that He had the Jewish people dragged off into another captivity in Rome. His people are returning to the promised land now after a 2000 year punishment but satan knows his time is short and is making a great attempt to prevent their return.

My favorite story from him was that when our son was in high school he would say, how about if you just go do how many dishes you think are fair and then I'll finish the rest. My son spent years working with children as camp counselor and teacher. He is great with children himself and followed in his father's Quaker footsteps . Being punished in life... Sin, what you call mistakes, is always its own punishment. It will eventually, if chronic, take you down. This may be karmic. (you can't cheat an honest man. If you are doing the right thing you have no reason to fear. )

Does CIM support reincarnation? I made a comment in another video about why mainstream Christianity rejects CIM and another reason is that it supports reincarnation. The Catholic Church teaches that Jesus did it all by His mercy and suffering. To believe in reincarnation is very anti-Jesus. If you keep coming back top perfect yourself you are saying that Jesus was ineffective. You keep coming back to perfect yourself and NO Human can do that. Jesus is THE ONLY source of salvation and He perfected your redemption. If you were evil and sent to a he ll of eternal regret it is because you threw away your opportunities during your life to love others. You get only one shot at eternal salvation but repentance and or repentance and reparation can Heal Everything for Jesus is Mercy and Love. God sometimes asks for reparation. For example if you aborted a baby you may fast or pray, or make pilgrimage, or some other means. (I say baby because we don't know when life begins and it is murder or not. As a male i am eternally grateful to the Lord that the decision for this is never going to be mine so i pray for those who do make the decision and hope they are responsible in their lives and not face this. There is ALWAYS an alternative to destroying an unborn, (By the way i would go live in the mountains as a hermit before I would ever to vote for Trump or Any GOP. They are a most evil group next to Soviet Russia Atheism and bondage. They are going to destroy our constitution and they all support that).)

The mom tells my 3y/o kid that baby prision can take her if she refuses to go to sleep. I always say that she don't need to worry because I'll protect her. I sometime go and "talk" with the baby police. Then I say please, don't cause trouble, baby, go to sleep. This is most fear we instill.

I'm an avid reader of the works of Emmanuel Swedenborg (1700s) and a lot of what is said here reminds me of what he has said of his experiences, though not as long lasting, expansive, immersive and intricate as his. Wonderful work. Thank you so much! I wish Jesus' role could have been given more time. I love your article "A Course in Miracles and Jesus of Nazareth" An excerpt: "The Course even contains views that echo the unique theological importance given Jesus by Christianity. It speaks of Jesus: Being the first to fulfill his own part (his special function in the world’s salvation) perfectly Being the leader of the plan of Atonement Being the one who “set in motion” the Atonement (by his resurrection) Calling down to earth-making accessible to us-the Holy Spirit, in a way He wasn’t before Being personally present in every single mind and every single life"

What confuses me when I listen to Marianne Williamson, as a course student/teacher, is why does she expend so much energy in trying to fix the (ego-identified) world? It seems like doing so, in my experience, only results in reinforcing my belief in sin, guilt and fear-separate bodies in a world of death. 🤷‍♀️

Great interview, thank you 🙏🏼 Since studying the Course I was holding the question in my mind about the reality of the historical man Jesus, so one day i just asked Jesus the question .. days later and out of the blue i received a clear and distinct thought/voice which said 'I am just as real as you'. This settled the question for me. Besides had a vision in a dream when i encountered Jesus. Someone said to me that Jesus is coming by any moment ... and there he came, he appeared from my left and the moment i saw him i realised that it was an old friend of mine and i said 'oh it's you' and Jesus replied the same back to me when he saw me 'oh its you'. I gave him a big hug and the rights side of my face was touching his upper chest ... in that moment I felt i was transcending time and space, being somehow transported into infinity ...

As in the Bible; "Faith, hope and charity, but of these charity is the greatest" I found a copy in a hotel where the word Love replaced Charity and yet another random Bible gave the term forgiveness in place of charity. Faith and hope are for the happy and the miserable; giving charity or forgiveness is for the holy and the blessed.

There are so many out there who claim to represent this great book. I have met a few and they all disappoint me. All of them. I always figured Marianne was the real deal by inference, and now that I hear her speak, I think so, you are okay by me Ms. Williamson. It had to be Trump but I was thrilled to SEE you out there speaking to the mob. As mentioned, first time listening, never read your stuff either. A 12 step person handed me a copy (1988) and suggested that if I was into Ram Dass (I was) and his Guru, Neem Karoli Baba (Indian saint 1900-1973) was my guru, who taught "to see God in everyone, love everyone, serve the poor, feed the hungry" He worked miracles by the tens of thousands and he always stressed that he does no miracles but God does, he rediculed the word saint (he is quoted, "I could have been a great a saint but I have too much compassion for people") and so it goes for me, a dead Hindu Holy person gives me my trust to have faith in the Course. In other words, I could have become a devottee of some such saint, but I am following this Jesus logic instead, for people, regular people like me. The Yoga Sutras of Pantanjali, the work of many, many rock and roll celebrities, the North American Native Tradition which recognizes the Holy Spirit by another name, even a few Christians such as the Unity People, or a few Catholics I know, maybe. Buddha was missing God and the Soul but they teach forgivness and self being the cause of all things true and false. Examine this self (some leave the religion when they discover the Source of their Truth) Jesus stands for a Universal Principle whch can be seen working itself out in the 1975 rock opera film " Tommy", or in these words, "I only want to forgive everyone, and yet I don't know what anything here is for, but there is One who does, please come to me now, for my heart is consumed by darkness". The heart of darkness is the realization that I hate everyone, trust no one, including myself and this is most tangible. The Truth of Love is in the center of that, or so the Course suggests. I would say I have intractable mental illness, but I have too much faith for that. PTSD is deadly, but there is no death. Thank you, crippled man waiting to die

I was never able to interest anyone in it. I shared it with a few people and they all said not for me. I don't think simplifying life came from the CIM. I think minimalism came from having your stuff destroyed every time CA had an Earth Quake. Why have pretty stuff if its going to all get broken all the time. In CA homes they don't have knickknacks.

The church wasn't pulled together as an organization because there were people who wanted to rule the world. It came about because there was confusion among the smaller groups as to what the meaning of some things were. The church came together to establish a doctrine and a creed for everyone to follow with no confusion. The church had to battle heresy constantly in the early days. The church is condemned for revering the Mother of Jesus. Eve was the scum of the world. Mary was brought forward as a PERFECT WOMAN. She was so perfect God chose her to be the mother of His son. Mary put all the women hating protestants to shame and they hate her for doing it. Mary was a woman given power. She gave women a new honor. The Holy Family came forward to teach the importance of family to the Divorce thirsty Protestant's that were chopping the heads off their wives. Martin Luther was a murderer, he killed his friend and ran to the church to escape jail, Henry the 8th was a serial killer and womanizer. The protestants were not bon of holy men.

The CIM doesn't gain, in my opinion , traction because it is identified as New Age - very bad. New age is devil worshipers and witches. Also it is seen as a woman's thing and a Gay thing. Neither of which would be popular among mainstream. Also, in its essence it calls established Christianity the wrong way even though it doesn't come out and say that, It is implied. Christians thing satan or demons wrote / inspired it to pull people into a false path and lose their souls to he ll as it doesn't maintain the idea of traditional salvation. The I'm OK, You're OK is absolutely BAD BAD BAD. Sin is sin. Its never OK. The CIM indicates that no one sins. Sin is OK

The main part of the CIM that Christians object to is that all religions of the world are equal otherwise it is great advice. Also it claims to be written by Jesus and the Christians have been left out and ignored when Jesus should have gone to them first. The course claims to be the next step in the evolution of Christianity just as the Christians believe they were the next great step in Judaism.
