This is the first video in my Cities Skylines series build. The aim of the series is to build a relatively small sized town with farming communities and thriving beach resort tourism spaces.
To start off, we build a cargo import hub for the upcoming community.
All music in this video was created by myself or someone I know.

I wish wheb the game was made a. Had allies and side roads without lines in the Middle without. Modes. Also the zonning should be better like when you have a curved road instead of a zone box it two or 4 looking odd just and options on zonning like the box zonning, curved shape zonning. Other then that this game is the shit.

It’s not pointless. We have the mount end zones with two lane roads inside the preparation of our town. And 4 placement within the tracks around the peninsula. so we could use monte bell again sometime (and use it often) it’s not about all his design it’s about his amazing solo work.

Can I just take the time to thank you for the categorization of all of the assets you've used? Great job man. I've just gotten back into the game and this allowed me to explore a bit of what's what without clicking through 2000 individual assets :D Also very great eye for symmetry in everything you do. Everything looks right without forcing itself upon the eye.

I really enjoyed this build. What I really like is yes its detailed, but its not overly done. Like, you didn't feel the need to beautify every square inch of greenspace, the parts you left bare made it feel more realistic. Great job.

These video series which I am still watching was so motivating and inspiring that I just had to have it. I downloaded all your elements accept any assets since when I do it cause all sorts of errors. I will need to start subscribing to some and testing to make sure which one breaks the game into errors. I truly love the channel. Very GOOD!.

Hi, How do you get the concrete to lay at 5:30 without it saying space occupied or automatically deleting the others you are overlaying? I have building anarchy and prop and tree anarchy both enabled.. EDIT - Found it now, needed to turn road anarchy on! Love the vids man, Its got me back into CS :D

Question - at 2:19 when you added that rail spur, how did you get it to connect so neatly to the main line? I see you have straight section selected and before placed you got a blue curve on the screen, but then when you placed it it snapped into a really nice straight section.

I use a mod call Fine Road Anarchy (steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=802066100). It allows you to disable "bending".

Thanks - I never noticed the sub menu on there to get that disable bending. Do you know the name of the prop for that high barbed wire fence? I feel like I've looked through hundreds of fence props and cannot find that one.

It's part of the base game. That is the fence around the prison found under Police Department. Get the mod 'More Beautification' which unlocks all props, and then use the 'Find It' mod to search for 'Prison fence'

Love the work here man. But one point of detail you need to be carefull with. If you are placing containers on top and next to each other, have in mind how they are stacked. I mean: Do you stack them with a Straddlecarrier or with a reachstacker? If you do it with a straddlecarrier you can place them in 90° of the road but you need space between the containers for the weels of the machine. I you place them a reachstacker you can place them with the long side along the road and you can place them against each other. And with both you need a lot of driving space. Keep up the good work man

Those premade parking lots you have @ 1:27 of all different sizes, did you pre-make those yourself or is that a mod pack that's in the workshop? Looked through your lists in the description, didn't see one that matched that. EDIT: and nvm, think I found them in the packs at the very bottom, didn't notice those before.

Hello, I just had to comment on this video and I know you will probably never respond or even see this comment but I have to say this, there are people who play cities sjylines like me and then there's people like you good sir, who created works of art with this game. To just say that I'm impressed or to just say how amazing your creations are kinda feels like an understatement to me. I have seen you and about a hand full of other people who can create works of art with this game but by far you have become my favorite artist. I truly believe that the people who made this game couldn't have had a clue to what people like you were going to be able to do with there game. You sir are a true artist, and it has been my pleasure to watch you work. So all that being said I would like to say thank you so much for doing what in my humble opinion is true art and with great talent it is being done by. I really appreciate all the time and effort that goes into making your creations and for sharing the video's with us. If you referring to DLCs, definitely Industries and After Dark. Mods, Plop the Growables and Move It for more control. The rest, browse the steam workshop and you'll find amazing assets for your use.

How do you move pieces around in freeform and make those micro-adjustments to their position on the grid as well as angle/curvature? I want to make nice smooth paths and clean off/on ramps for my freeways, but they always look janky from clipping on to some form of grid...also often times then don't even curve the right way and I want to control that better. Please help!

It’s a bunch of assets called Ultimate Area Filler (or something like that). Search the workshop and you should find them.

You'd have to purchase them. But, you can use mods to unlock everything and play with infinite money so that buying things isn't a problem.

You need an anarchy mod (Fine Road Anarchy is the one I use), then Plop the Growables to prop buildings without zoning. And of course, Move It to move them wherever you want.

Hi, Sanctum Gamer I have something to ask. `Extra Landscaping Tools mod` I want to be flattening of the terrain through this mode. want to be at the same height as the original terrain. Is there any way to set Value to the height of the original terrain

With the mod menu open, select the 4th option, then right-click on a terrain (which is the height you want), then simply left-click and drag anywhere else to raise the terrain to the height of the area where you right-clicked.

is it possible to make a map that you have to drain the ocean to get the presses resources. like you start on a small island. it's kind of like Atlantis challenge but in Reverse instead of water rising up your lowering the water to get more land and resources. but there's a wall keeping the water from escaping a map so you have to compete with the rising water. but the water will only rise if you expand too much.

Doc Martin you can’t. The base game has terrible graphics, unrealistic zoning, and you can’t place anything how you want. With mods and a good enough PC, you can do whatever.
