Man, this band... the last 10 years, ive seen immeasurable strife. From a small town hero, to trying to find myself, to propping up others more broken than me. Carrying a loved one through addiction, to taking on their addiction, to suicide, to homelessness, to nothingness... I can't remember a single time I've shed tear for what this life has robbed me of. I just discovered this band, and I've listened to 3 songs so far and each of them has surfaced emotions I've refused to deal with.

I love this song. I just wish I could believe it. I've never felt like I was enough. And every day it feels like I'm reminded of that fact more and more.

I've been dealing with the most toxic "friend" imaginable for years now. They always bring me down mentally and make me feel worthless. So listening to this helps me feel better and reminds me that I am who I am, no matter what they say. Worsened by the fact that It's impossible for me to leave them. Not because I'm afraid, but because I need them to see the only person in my life who gives me genuine joy. Without the toxic one, I lose them forever. And that's....not something I want, to put it lightly.

I don't know if you believe in God at all, but he spoke to me with your words and love that you put in this wonderful song..
