Excellent job Ro!! I’ll keep watching your uploads you’re always teaching me something. Have you ever thought about trying to replace the rear view mirror with an auto dimming one like the touring has? No one has made a video on it yet but it’s something I’d really like to do.

Thank you for those kind words. You're the second person to bring that to my attention. I bought an ultra mirror on Amazon and just put it over the factory mirror (clip on).it is already designed to work against the bright light at night without being expensive and technical to install. I can send you the link for it, just to see if you like it.

Ro, fine job producing another detailed step by step video. Honda should have included these ports in all trim levels.

Thank you! I agree, I think honda made a big mistake by not including at least 2 usb ports.

I’ve done plenty of mechanical mods/changes over the years to my cars, but stayed away from electric. Thanks for detailed vids man, keep them up! Question about power supply though, will the circuit feeding that 12v cigarette lighter really be able to support all three additional USB chargers at once? Just wondering if there’s another circuit I could tap into that would be dedicated for the rear?

@Ty DaCosta That circuit can more than handle the additional usbs. It can handle 180w max these usb together is not even close to 30w, maybe 25w max. Remember that's the raw 12v coming into that socket and whatever you plug into it has its own break down circuit to power or charge whatever device you are using, so that you don't burn it up. Hope that helps to give you a better understanding.

Hi. I ordered the part # you supplied for the harness. The harness I received has 3 connectors . Did you cut 1 off before you started video? Thx.

@rickkolczak8429 I did remove 2 of the connectors and rebuild 1 with the connectors I purchased from Amazon. The 1 I rebuilt was the end to get the 12volt from the car.

Hi, do you can help me with the pinout? I doesn't have the whole harness I only got the connector and would make it by myself. Do you still know which pins are + and which are -? Thank you

@@rotheinstaller EDIT: I got it 👍 2 + wires are for the port and one for the light. For anyone who got the same issue -> wenn you look at the module connection from left to right, 1 - light 2 + light 3&4 + USB 5 - USB

@JustRiceLeague I'm not sure...each car uses a different part. You would have to get the part numbers to know which one works with your car
