Finally back at the Nurburgring in 2021 💪🏻 This time not with the DC2 Ringtool but with ProjectEG. Also a blast to drive, not as fast as the Integra but just as much fun!
In the 3rd lap i had some luck with having a nice battle with a gt3 which had around the same pace and we didn't had any yellows on track, clearly shows the setup is working great!👌🏻 watch and enjoy the Vtec scream 😂
This Civic was bought as a 2nd tracktool to have some fun with when i am working on the Integra.
Nothing fancy, just a mixture of the right parts and setup!! TotalCarTuning !!

Bit bouncy but overall loved how this car handled 💪🏻 this was the 3rd lap ever on the Nordschleife with this car! Shows the confidence the setup gave 😎 couldve been faster with some softer damping probably

@@keyn9r lol civics are also slow as hell when they are not prepared for track, this civic only could keep up with the porsches bacause its prepared for track, and that subi is fast because probably it is prepared for track too

@@marcofreitas927 don't get me wrong, i think STIs are cool and fast cars, but i think most drivers are inexperienced or afraid to push it hard on the track. Same like Skyline, AMG, Porsche(the cheaper ones) and so on...

Back in the early oughts, built LS Vtecs would keep up with new porsche's at the time in street roll races. Glad to see them still kicking ass on and off the track

@@Iusniqa The VTEC is life. The VTEC is hard to explain but it's active at 5200-6000rpm 'til the rev limiter, it's exclusive to Honda but other brands have their system on some cars, but the Honda VTEC is the best. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VTEC

@@Iusniqa using an "LS" block (non-vtec) which is a b18a/b1 or b20 block with a B16, GSR or Type R (VTEC) head. LS blocks make more torque overall because of the longer stroke, but putting the VTEC head on it allows you to make more top end and midrange out of them due to the higher flowing head.

This is how I like to watch civics. I could care less about drag civics and 1k hp awd civics. This is way cooler. I grew up watching my dad road race a 1990 civic si hatch with a d16 bored 40 over. It wasn't the fastest car on the track but it ate everything in the corners.

It's weird seeing your habits are just like mine. I always check the headlight switch over and over it's like a weird ocd twisting that damn thing even though you know they are on, Also the pat on the wheel 4:33 when the car is doing good and you feel proud of it taking all the abuse with no problem.

Is this a built k20 ? If so whats done to it ?? Love this. I drive a 07 si with k24a swap rite now. Had many civics. A red hatch just like this was 1 of them. I have my k20z3 i plan to rebuild and put in a older model one day like this.
