In this video I show you how to lay the film into a heavily recessed area instead of using an inlay. This is a more advanced technique and without the proper skill you can do more damage to the film or work yourself into more problems.

Its helps alot to have the front end raised up with car Ramps or have it on Jack stands with the front wheels off. Edit: it eliminates the chances of dirt being so close to the floor getting picked up from the static upon removing the backing paper.

If you run into where the wheel is too close to the bumper can you just turn the wheel hard either direction to gain yourself some room to pull the vinyl?

Christian, I have that very year and model of MX5. I,m a beginner when it comes to wrapping. I did wrap my car EXCEPT for that front bumper as I thought it looked difficult to do what with the fog light areas ,etc. I was gonna make an attempt at it anyway but came down with cancer and on chemo. Anyhow ,for a beginner what level of difficulty would you say this is?

Highly suggest u not, if u do you'll end up damaging some part of the bumper because of the amount of force that is exerted when stretching.

No, I used a seam on each side which is barely noticeable if you watch the end of the video I show it close up

if I may, for the last shot, around the car.. if you can purchase a gimbal it help to do stabilised shot. It could be juste another upgrade for your video. :)

Dude, you have to use knee protection! Now it's all fine but after 10-15 years i'll ask you how is going!? (Don't try to be smart, just talking from my expirience. Trust me, it's for your own health.) Otherwise, really nice video, thank you for the effort.
