A batch of Washington state park opens from March1st to mid of May for clam digging, they provide better clamming opportunity then those opened year around. I was able to get 3 limits of manila clam with my son and my mom within one hour. And then got some fresh oyster at the beach.

Wow looks delicious. I will have to try this recipe. I am typically taking them and tossing in seasoned flour, egg, than panko bread crumbs. Made an oyster PO boy last night.

I got a limit of Manila clams so quickly with my mom. I made her favorite food for her, clam pasta. It was so nice to be able to do that. I can’t wait to do it again it was such a beautiful day

When you toss the small ones on the beach don’t they get trampled by everyone else walking around?

I always put them back when I refill the hole. But even you don't, I don't think stepping on them will crash the shell.
