We are wrapping up our 10-week series on How to do stuff in QBO (Quickbooks Online), and we thought the best way to wrap it up was to interview our colleague and fellow QB addict, Hector Garcia. Hannah, I have asked the SBA for my amortization schedule and they are telling me there is not one! Any help in who to contact to get this??

This was very informative. I am still contemplating if I should invest "for me" a high monthly fee when we are only a two owner business 🤔

So glad you found it informative! I understand the cost isn't insignificant. What do you do for accounting systems now? I find most people spend less time on their bookkeeping when they move to QBO and it yields more accurate results for taxes if you are doing it on a spreadsheet. I generally say a spreadsheet can work if you are making less than $1,000 per month and have 1 bank account.

@@ClaraCFO do allot of like the old fashion way we are in Trucking so a lot of going through expenses like fuel and repairs and douple checking with bank statements. Cutting my time on the computer and taking notes would probably be the reason for me to try it out.

@@mariabernard8726 Hi. I am literally binge-watching Clara CFO videos for QBO. I’m also reading all of the comments. You are the first person that mentioned they’re in the trucking business. We have our own authority, 1 semi and we’re a For-Hire small business. Did you decide to give QBO a try? Have you found QBO is compatible for your trucking business?

Hi, I have receipts for the director to enter. Do I need to enter each receipt or is it quicker to get him to fill in a expense for and to enter the summary only into QuickBooks? There are hundreds of receipts

Hi - you can scan in receipts and attach them to transactions after you've entered them into the register. The other way you can do that is to store those hundreds of receipts somewhere and just have them as backup in case you get audited. It would be good to organize them by date. going forward, you can attach receipts as you go. You don't HAVE to attach receipts in QBO, but it is best practice to have a receipt to support every transaction. You could also look into a receipt management system like Dext or Hubdoc - that might help you streamline and store your receipts.
