Absolutely total midfielder. World class dribbler, have great finishing, can go defend, can shoot a scream. Also well mannered, a gentleman and well educated. An all time great. I remember when Italian coach said if seedorf was Italian we will bring him everytime. He deserves to be remembered as much pirlo, Becks and other giant midfielder in his era

as a person from the netherlands, it is criminal that till this day he doesnt get the respect he deserves here. its crazy that he is more valued outside the netherlands. I remenmber how it used to piss me off that while he was regarded as of the best midfielders in the world, was not getting picked for the national squad.

I am a fan of Mainoo but this Guy is something else and truth be told i don’t think we have such a midfielder in modern football 😂 i mean the Guy has all qualities of a Proper Footballer👌🏽

I agree. Seedorf is the definition of a complete midfielder / total footballer. Did it all at a world class level. Mainoo has potential but would have to improve his finishing; power and flair for example to become more like seedorf. But to be honest I want him to become the first Kobbie Mainoo so that they compare youngsters to him in the future!

That’s why I think Real Madrid should have kept him around when they had him. He would’ve worked really well with Makelele, Zidane and Figo in the midfield. He also would’ve not been the only player to win the CL with 3 different clubs if that happened too, but his level of play at which he was truly at deserved a spot on that Galacticos squad. That’s how good he was.

I don't see this at all. I see a slow controlled player with compete different skillset to Seedorf. Seedorf was quicker and played faster tempo football. Mainoo is the opposite to this.

Pirlo was slow and controlled but was sensational player. I think Mainoo needs to find out what his best position is but imo it's not in a Seedorf style.
