I think the total address should be : 2^29

I think first ip should be 192.168.17.1 And last ip should be 192.168.17.254 As you have said we have only 254 host in class C😊

The IP addresses which you have mentioned will be the first usable and the last usable IP addresses. But the range of Ip addresses is from 192.168.17.0 - 192.168.17.255 where 192.168.17.0 is the network address and 192.168.17.255 is the broadcast address.

The total addresses will be N=2^32-n Which equals N=2^32-24 = 256
