"Archaeologists in Mexico have uncovered an Aztec city that has laid undiscovered for over 500 years. The large site includes an extensive system of irrigation tunnels. Lying in one of these tunnels, a skeleton was found grasping what appears to be the remains of a modern electric torch."

"We've not seen much of Susan". . . because Carole Ann Ford was on hioliday! One thing I noticed particularly in this are the musical 'stings' around the Doctor's flirtations in the garden--they are very reminiscent of those used to mark a whimscal moment Star Trek (TOS). One could easily imagine Doctor McCoy standing off to the side observing with a cocked eyebrow.!

The sonic screwdriver wasn't a thing yet.

The sonic screwdriver makes its first appearance in the Second Doctor era, and only a couple of times. It becomes more of a thing with the Third. Jackie always said this was her favorite sorry and you can see why!

No spoilers, but keep in mind this Doctor's reverie when telling Cameca of the possiblilty of "a garden of our own". It will come in handy in a decade or two...
