Classic Game Room reviews ROBOCOP VERSUS THE TERMINATOR for Sega Genesis frin 1993 from Virgin Games. Robocop vs. Terminator is a side scrolling action game for Sega Genesis (aka Sega Mega Drive) with amazing 1990's era graphics and solid gameplay. Play as Robocop sent on a mission to destroy Skynet! Terminators and enemies like Ed-209 have been sent back from the future to take over the earth and Robocop must destroy them. Collect awesome weapons like laser guns and flame throwers to defeat waves of enemies, gun turrets and Terminators. 10 levels of action become super-difficult near the end. Find online Robocop Versus The Terminator codes to unlock a different version of the game with girls in their underwear and more violence. Other codes allow level skipping and more. God damn, the nostalgia. This game was the highlight of gaming in my childhood. Easily one of the best Mega Drive games you'll play.

it's on the SNES they just took out the gore and the difficulty level is absurdly hard ,it pretty much sucks

ED209's weapon is my personal favorite. You can get it earlier from a secret room in one of the first levels. Awesome game.

If you change your weapon before you die you won't lose it. I could never defeat the last boss skynet but still played as this was an awesome game!

Had it, loved it, couldn't get enough. The difficulty curve was steep, but in a subtle kind of way, but I do agree, once you lost your weapons, game over, man. flame-thrower ftw!

Pooltastic flamethrower was only good for its bigger spread. The homing spinning missiles and grenade launcher were better.

i played the hell out of demolition man on sega cd. i beat it several times. this game is far more challenging, i have yet to beat it.

I bought this game for like $12 at a used game store after reading that it was one of the more violent Genesis games. Needless to say it's one of the best games I've played on the Genesis :D

I love this game so much, i bought it for Genesis, SNES, & Master System! The Genesis version looks and plays much better than the SNES. The SMS version is pretty awesome, except for the single looping music track that plays throughout.

This game is insanely large, it gets very hard in the end, but its so much fun, I use cheats to reach the last levels, and even so, I was shocked how large this game is.

I remember when I bought this game in 1993 at Babages. The guy who sold it to me kept saying there was going to be a Robocop vs. Terminator movie set to appear in theaters in summer of 1995, which has still yet to happen.

RoboCop AND Terminator were my childhood heroes, when I heard this was coming out (I was like 4 or 5) I BEGGED to get this game. Got it a few years later. :P lol To this day, it is one of my favorite games. I think it should've been 2-player or had a character select with a reprogrammed T-800 as T2 was freakin' awesome. I will correct on this video, the game was also made for SNES (Which had censored violence but better story), Game Boy, Game Gear, and even the NES Prototype was pretty cool. :)

The only thing missing is Arnold Schwarzenegger's line from the end of Terminator 2. That line should be where you lose and Arnold's voice should say Hasta la vista baby.

This game was so many levels of awesome back in the day, and i played it almost non-stop, along with Sonic 3 & Knuckles. So many great memories, i was so hyped when i finally beat it, but was slightly disappointed when i fought sky-net at the end, that was anti-climatic, but super hard as well.

Nice! I haven't played this version in so long. It's good to see Cain Robocop as a boss, but that guy was a total badass and should have been more formidable. The SNES version was good, but it lacked the gore that both franchises require.

I would have loved this game as a kid. I loved the tiny bit of blood in judge dredd on snes. even though the n64 was already out by then, but I was a kid with no income who played his friend's ps1 and snes sometimes

Alright, Mark is falling in love with the violence and flamethrowers. It's understandable. But the gameplay really is pretty run-of-the-mill Sega Genesis action game.

@NanoSuitUser059 - There were some great games that came out in the last generation, the "Grand Theft Auto" games ("Vice City", "San Andreas" and of course "III"), the first two "Halo" games, "Metal Gear Solid 2" and "3: Snake Eater", the "Jak and Daxter" series, "Ratchet and Clank", the first two "Metroid Prime" games - the list goes on. But I think the best generation, that I remember in my lifetime was the generation of the Playstation and Nintendo 64.

I remember my older brother getting this game, i loved it! i was only 3 at the time and i could easily progress to the level where you fight Kane. Such a great game, that along with Cool Spot for Sega :)

ROBOCOP:..it's on!!!! Awww YEAH!!!, l remember renting this game for one weekend, it was fucking awesome!! definitely one of the best cross over games I've ever played, l remember staying up all night trying to destroy Skynet! and l succeeded and was able to return the game in time...great times.

this is the first game i thought was far superior on genesis. i played it on genesis at a friend's house or something and was so excited to see it was also on snes. then when i played it i was hugely disappointed to find it was an entirely different game.
