I’m half Sicilian and half Calabrese (born and raised in Canada), and this is exactly how my mom makes tiramisu. She never uses egg whites because we all prefer a richer and heavier cream. I’m going to try making my own savoiardi cookies from scratch next time. 🤗

Guys, I always wanted to make tiramisu but I grew being told to never eat raw eat. It is ok now to eat raw eggs? I really want to make it. Just a heads up… I live in Australia and our eggs are not pasturised.

Ingredients are: 5 egg yolks 140 grams of sugar 3 boxes of mascarpone~678grams

Here in Europe we also add some "percentages" like Amaretto or Tia Maria??
