This was extremely helpful. I'm about to attempt to take two damaged 64 Impala hoods and make one good one. I may fail, but it's worth try. Basically I need to remove the bracing from one and transfer it to the straighter sheetmetal. This video makes that seem possible. I'll just have to take care with the sheetmetal and separating the spot welds. it's so difficult to find nos panels, and I want to try this before going with reproduction. Enjoyed your work.
