Appreciation to Mr Leonard Smith ( Lenny Smith ) for requesting Classic Hymns Mass Choir to sing the hymn “Our God Reigns” written and composed by him. We thank God for leading us to do the hymn along with 14 other hymns and inspiring us to title the album “ Our God Reigns”

I am simply delighted what you all, and especially the choir director, have done with my old hymn I wrote in the early 70s. I LOVE that you sang all five original verses! Thank you so much for your love and the work it took to make this presentation!

Praise the Lord Jesus for this glorious heaven-blest sound! Indeed our God reigns! I pray that his grace and mercy will spread like a carpet over the expanse of the whole of India, so that the eyes of the.blind and the ears of the deaf will be cleansed and stubborn broken hearts can find their eternal rest in the embrace of their Heavenly Father through the atoning sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ, and many come into the knowledge of adoption as children of the living God with the expanding family from all corners of the world.

When I watch your faces and listen to my old melody and the lyrics the Holy Spirit gave me in the early 70s, a smile comes to my face and tears begin to run down my cheeks. I just love what you all have done! I feel like I am only about 65 or 70:).

This is one of my favorite hymns. The choir has no words or music in front of them. Awesome they have memorized this beautiful hymn. To see the composer posting is a real treat for me. I learned this song years ago when my mom was still alive. We had to learn a hymn each week, when I was in grammer school and sing it by memory on Friday. I have kinda kept that up over the years. Memorizing music and Scripture. Our God Reigns. Praise God!!!
