This show showed the variety of ways men came home from Nam. That was a good-for-nothing brutal war. My mom said my father came home so messed up and he felt awful because he had shot and killed in combat and the guilt ate him up inside I was 2 when he killed himself and so I really don't remember him but I think that was a terrible unfair needed war.

Absolutely **LOVED** this show back in the day, but even back then it always irked me that Wojohowiecz always expected people in civilian life to conform to the way things were when he was serving in the military. If life in the Marine Corps was so appealing to him, then why didn't he remain enlisted, or re-enlist??

I can understand Gardino's Rational, in order to catch a drug dealer, you have to look like one. it gives them the false impression of "he's cool" and "He's one of us" and then he gains their trust, and the dealers open up about their "Clients", other dealers and their sources.
