Using several problems from NCTM's Problems-of-the Week, we will explore different problem-solving strategies and ways to access prior knowledge. We will use ClassPad.net to demonstrate how dynamic technology can be a powerful tool for helping students demonstrate their understanding and use multiple representations to justify and support their reasoning. You will see how to use images, graphing, geometry, calculations, tables and more as we explore algebra, geometry and middle-school appropriate problems. You will leave with ready-to-use activities.
