We will show you how to use dynamic geometry to first get a sense of what each conic is and how they behave, and then move into the equations of conics in the online graphing to really dive into properties, key points, and properties of each conic. You will see how the use of sliders with conic equations allows students to understand the coefficients and behaviors of a conic. Using the graphing sticky, see how easy it is to see key features, equations of asymptotes and directrix, and help develop an understanding of the relationship between the different conics.
