Do you know why they did that? When you... Kill Gabe the GIGANTIC cyber-dog, when you loot him, you can find a LAER. they originally planned it to be a unique weapon, but they made Eliijas a unique one during construction of the DLC.

at least you can dupe them, if you use a glitch to set an ammo type to your hot bar than when you equip any throwable/placeable weapon you can click the hot bar slot that has the ammo, your throwable will than just deplete the ammo instead of depleting your throwable/explosive. you can use this to dupe C4 for easy caps too. my fav use is so i never run out of holy hand grenades. going on a killing spree with those is one of the best random things to do in that game haha

If Oxhorn records Lonesome Road that means in a sense we're going along with him. Since you have to travel alone and Oxhorn is not that means he can't take the lonesome road. Since he can't take it, he can't record it which means we're never getting a lonesome road series.

Oxhorn should do a series on how all of the DLC are connected. I just completed Dead Money but the problem I have is that when playing the game, I miss a whole bunch of stuff because I am busy playing the game than really experiencing the story. Dead Money is incredibly depressing and shockingly powerful, even in just the 30-40% of the story that I actually caught. Considering Elijah is pretty much the most evil bastard to ever live, I would love to see how his story fully progressed in an Oxhorn video. Because the only thing that is as good as playing Fallout is having Oxhorn's sweet, sweet voice elegantly take us through a story. Seriously mate, you have officially made me realize just how powerful the storytelling is in the Fallout games. It has already been explained far better than I ever could: "tragically beautiful storytelling."

It's possible that Dr. Mobius' glove and scrubs are a reference to Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog. At the end of the film, Dr. Horrible's costume is red (lab coat/scrubs), and features black gloves.

Aegis Well with new vegas, they had some of the staff who created fallout from the start, they knew what they were doing with the franchise a lot more than Bethesda still does. Bethesda is trying to simply translate skyrim into fallout as best they can to try and replicate the success, but they sacrifice what makes fallout well.... fallout.

All I can say here. Is I can't believe I actually went through one of your Fallout Series Videos. I thoroughly enjoyed your telling of this DLC's Story. It was an amazing trip, that delved into Retro Sci Fi, Horror Surgeries gone Awry, and Gave a lot of light on Fallout Lore. Probably my favorite thing about all of this aside from the loot, would be the story behind the Harness, and what had happened too those who were trapped inside. All in all an amazing DLC.

I played New Vegas about 3 years ago. All the DLC included. Had a very visceral experience and I was blown away by just how much was put into the game. I haven't played it cos it scratched up and I never got another copy. Xbox is having their Black Friday sale and it's only $5. Now, thanks to Oxhorn I can go back and immerse myself a second time but with all the helpful videos he has made. Thanks man.

With the hazmat suit you can shoot the container with the sonic emitter and get it without the password.

Dr. Mobius' Glove sounds like it would be very fun to use if the chance to frenzy enemies was higher. Imagine going into Caesar's tent and causing Caesar to be killed by his own guards.

I know I'm 6 years late but there is a cattle prod weapon in the x 13 research facility it's in a forcefield covered room between the x 13 stealth testing lab and the door to Big Mountain it's next to the body of a Dr Calis

Alternatively, you can shoot the Sonic gun at the Hazmat Suit once you have the ability to remove forcefields and that works too.

Get the mark of Caesar before lonesome road and balance your reputation with both NCR and Legion, because when you talk to Ulysses you can explore both sides of his dialogue tree at once

Oxhorn, thank you so much for the free content you put out. I remember laughing at your anti elf anthem when I was a 9 year old squeaker playing World of Warcraft. a couple months back I found out you were back making videos! I was skeptical about fallout content since I wasn't very interested in those games, but it took me by surprise. Not only am I enjoying your fallout content, but I have been enjoying Fallout! Played through Fallout 1, Fallout 4, and im working on New Vegas at the moment. Keep up the good work! Your attention to detail never fails to entertain!

I know it’s been a few years. But I’m glad that Ox helped you discover a love for Fallout. They really are nifty games, aren’t they? I’d say my favorite is Fallout New Vegas. I like 3 for the nostalgia and story (as well as lore). I like 4 for the sheer content and story (as well as lore). I also like 4’s location since I live only an hour away from Boston, so that’s cool. But New Vegas I feel like has all of those cool things, but on a higher level. Plus I feel like the faction storylines are much more interesting than in the other two games I mentioned. I’ve never played 1 or 2.

I loved this series, just like the Dead Money DLC! Old World Blues is a great DLC and with you discovering the lore and making the stories come together, it makes it even better! In fact, you inspired me to re-download FNV just so I can play through the DLCs again. I got board after a while with it, but after seeing this series, I'm ready to play through it again. This was a great series and you should be proud on how it turned out!I'm looking forward to the Lonesome Road series. In the words of the lovely Vera Keyes, "We'll be waiting".

Thin red paste also comes from a new survival-based perk that was added to OWB. And, like the blood sausage (and proton axe), it's a callback to Wasteland.

Fav armor and clothing: Christine's CoS Recon Armor, the Stealth Suit Mk II, the Hazmat Suit w/ Darklight Cowl, the Valence Radii-Accentuator, and the Atomic-Valence Tri-Radii-Oscillator.

My fav locations in Old World Blues: Higgs Village, Little Yangtze, Ulysses' Point, the Y-17 Medical Facility, the X-8 Research Center, the X-13 Research Facility, the X-22 Botanical Garden, the Forbidden Zone, and the Sink. Little Yangtze, Ulysses' Point, and the Y-17 Medical Facility I like cause it shows us the overall history of Father Elijah, Christine Royce, this mysterious Courier called Ulysses and their time spent in Big MT. The X-22 Botanical Garden I like cause it tells us where the Spore Carriers and Spore Plants in Vault 22 came from. Two honorable mentioms are the Z-9 Crotalus DNA Preservation Lab and the Z-14 Pepsinae DNA Splicing Lab for both being the origins of the Nightstalkers and the Cazadores respectively. And the fact that Dr. Borous thinks that his beloved Nightstalkers and Cazadores all still reside in Big MT is hilarious, cause they both did escape from the Big MT. (cause they both had brains and weren't robotic, so the force field around the Big MT wouldn't affect them.)😂

i will miss this intro, its very cheesy sci-fi, like the DLCs inspiration itself, hence what makes it so in tune, that being said i think the greatest bit of loot in this DLC is The Sink player home, and its so easy to get back to, just point the remote and ZIP, home sweet oversexualized home. i will be sure that when i play Fallout NV modded, i will go there as soon as my stats are good enough, cant beat that kind of player home, one you can just teleport to, loot and all.

The throwing axes can be used to repair the non throw able versions. Makes them handy to store and use as needed.

I have a mod installed that makes the sonic emitter more powerfull and makes the secondary effects a little different, tho my favs of that mod are how it makes the tarantula emitter explode into a fiery blaze on impact, i also love the robo scorpion since it shoots slow moving but highly damaging exosive projectiles that when critting makes enemies explode xD

The assassin suit and the Stealth Suit MK2 share the same model with one difference aside from color. The Stealth Suit has a Turtleneck kinda thing on it. Assassin Suit is Stealth Suit MK1 confirmed.
