You could also try doing the water hose from the outlet end of the pipe. That way there is somewhere for the water and clogged material to go. Just work your way up the pipe slowly.

I have a rock stock on the outdoor drain, I will try that today.

A round weed grinder fell in mine just now, how do I take it out? the pipe that it fell is in the side of the house and the pipe goes underground.. please help

Which snake did you use for this? I have a very similar problem but the auger/snake I find in home depot isn't powerful enough. Where can I buy the one you have?

The snake is over 25 years old. I couldn't find a brand name on it. Check at a plumbing supply house.
