I love the level of detail in which you show your work: what it really takes in terms of moving methodically and taking multiple passes, as well as the research into historical costume.

I've been watching the Mr Croxton series with a constant feeling I must have met him in a past life because he looked so familiar and today I've realized HE LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE PETER PETTIGREW IN THE HARRY POTTER FILMS ⚡ My partner and I love your videos!

Another great video. I recently discovered you and then was recommended to Baumgartner. I have to say that you've done a remarkable job delivering similar professional restoration content while also establishing your own delivery and content. I'm sure adding this to your work life has only added to your workload (filming & editing are difficult), but you are doing a great job. Thanks for making that effort and delivering something so great. I had no past inclination or interest in art restoration but now I'm fascinated. It's very relaxing and satisfying to watch. Are there other conservatation channels that you follow or respect?

Wow! I am imagining this portrait of a once beloved mayor hanging in a local pub for decades/centuries to get that much smoke & such obscuring him! Looking forward to more revelations!

Yes Id be interested to see where he has been all this time! There are no living Croxtoons in Middlewich so Im sure hes been languishing somewhere for decades...

What a difference between the clean side and the other. Its always wonderful seeing the colours come back as they would have been seen by the artist when he painted it.The wig is very nicely painted too!there’s a lot of detail in the hairs on it that are forming the curls. He is going to look incredible when he’s finished ..🥰

I like your Videos, because I restore oil paintings myself. But I will say - Two episodes for one restauration objekt is definitley enough. Best regards from Germany.

Got to disagree with you there - I really enjoy the series - not rushed, lots of detail to take in and savour. Everyone likes something different - but I like these videos for the very fact they are presented slowly and carefully. 😊

Thanks for your comment but I too like to share as much as possible rather than condense everything into 20 - 30 minutes, plus the research side of things also takes time to develop and avenues to open. Everyone likes an instant clean and to see dramatic results but life isnt like that and especially restoration takes time.

Amazing transformation. If the painting was a living being I can imagine it begging to be released from the crud. What collected over the centuries is pretty disgusting. I admire your patience in your work.
