I’ve spent the last 3 years 8 months in our old shop detailing cars in a small 2 car size shop and doing all the decontamination washing out the front in a car park in the stinking hot sun or pouring rain. It was bloody miserable. A month ago we moved into a new shop 3 times the size and was able to build an indoor wash bay. Huge difference and makes me want to push the business even harder!

Honestly I never have a favorite part. I'm working on becoming a professional detailer so I love looking at videos to learn new things. I decided to stick with your channel in particular because in my opinion I learn more from your videos and you make it look like with plenty of practice i can make a career out of detailing and in a couple of years own a detail shop

I had my car detailed and protected with gyeon duraflex... i knew what i was paying for, i wouldnt and i didnt react like a maniac even tho the car looked and still looks great... i was very thankful coz i couldnt do the job myself, but nothing worthy of a youtube video... idk how u expect ppl to react when they are picking up their own car... they know how the car looks like.. they are just paying for the car to look brand new or a lil better than brand new again in some cases... but they already know. They wont react like retards, they are just very thankful and thats it... its not like u are offering them a new car lol

I used to have to do outside work in the rain all the time working for a family resort. We did a lot of cleaning in the rain. Was the best time to clean gutters. I would clean my family's cars in the rain sometimes too

I’ve been waiting for a new video all wee! I took your advice about the microfiber applicator pads on auto geek and snatched up 3 of them! I can’t wait to use them this weekend! 😃👍🏻 Also I’ve detailed the inside of a car in a complete down pour before but luckily I was in my garage and just got the nice sound of rain and cool air to make the job easier! My favorite part of the detail was the UV protecting of all the plastics and the bed cover, it makes everything just pop!

A microfiber wash mop on a telescoping pole works awesome on big vehicles like this. No more climbing on tires and door sills to reach the roof, hood, windshield, and tonneau.

Sarasota, FL. 5 months out of the year, you're guaranteed thunderstorms 80% of the week. But I love washing my car in the rain. The dirt falls off when I hit it with the pressure washer.

After watching damn near all your videos I wanna take on detailing my vehicles to a much higher level. Just a few different items on my shopping list like the extractor and such but I take a lot of pride in my rides and it's so satisfying to clean a vehicle to dealership standard levels of clean. Watching your videos has honestly shown me that it's not as difficult as I had originally thought. I even did some wetsanding on the wife's old black jeep to get the trail rash off from the previous owner(s)!

I don’t know of you’ve bought any of the stuff yet considering its a 2yr old comment, but I recommend a shop vac instead of a dedicated carpet extractor. You just need to get a claw/extractor attachment. A landscape sprayer works great for spraying carpet cleaner as well.
