Thanks bro, I'm getting my dashboard sensor coming on and off occassionally telling me that the EGR is being affected, so now with your video I can clean it and save myself some repair costs. The only difference is that I have a Cummins engine, but I'm sure it's a similar set up.

Freighliner cascadia 2011 dd15 engine the egr valve is situated by turbo chager on passenger side.

Damn wish I knew this before I went to dealer. my 2011 M2 is running really slow, it changes gears fine but really sluggish. Took to dealer they said Egr, Egr valve,intake cleaning,r/R filters and clean the DPF...$6700!! This cant be life :(

That's not the EGR valve. The EGR valve is by the EGR actuator

@Vic Med if i bought a truck with the 60 Series 14 L with EGR and i just cleaned the EGR every so often would the engine be as reliable as if i were to delete it?

Where do you get torque values for the fasteners used in the various components of a DD13 or DD15?

Vic, would you rather have you're cascadia with just the EGR valve or the newer trucks with the Def system. I might have to go this route if I can't find a used glider.
