Ok. I cannot even understand how it can be that folks are watching this podcast and yet only 10% of them are giving a "like" for it. What's with that? You all are doing a great job and deserve it. And Jeff Allen is on my short list of very funny human beings. Doesn't he deserve a thumbs up? I would give you all 2 thumbs up were it possible.

Jeff became part of our family at the Bill G. event he shared. Took him home with us in a DVD case... let him out to play in our pastoral living room parties. Glad to report four generations of very happy men. Thank you Jeff, for all the years you have ministered to our hearts and lives. Can't wait for your Galactic Tours.

I love the comedy, but my heart goes out to the candid details of the transformation Jeff talks about in his life. These aren't self-righteous, highlights he speaks about. He isn't talking only about the good times and successes he has lived; he shares where he was and how the transformation happened. I give Jeff credit not only for taking the difficult steps necessary to change his life but also for the deep humility in which he shares some very personal details. We all have the low-lights in our lives, but most people only share the things we are proud of. Jeff makes us look at ourselves as a work in progress, and we work at it until we leave this world. We are all a work in God's hands, and we need to remember that He isn't done with us yet. We are just clay in the Potter's hands. 🙏

The hosts did great! They acknowledged each other, bantered, and didn't distract us from their guest. And guess what? They did it ALL after drawing attention to their criticism(s). That's a homerun, boys!

Heard Jeff on Sirius while driving flatbed. Kept me sane. That was 24 years ago. I still listen to Jeff almost every night to smile my way to sleep. I too was a fan of standup comedy as a kid. Cosby albums were my weakness. My dad’s best gift to me was him taking me to see Bill live in Chicago. Never got the courage to try standup. Too much of a coward.

I saw Jeff Allen in Pittsburgh, Pa, at the old Civic Arena when he was on tour with The Gaithers and Friends. It was about a week before Christmas, and I think it was in 1996. The whole event was awesome, beautiful, and fantastic 👏 ❤. I met Jeff after his set during the intermission, and he was funny and super cool. I bought his HAPPY WIFE, HAPPY LIFE CD that day, and it is still hilarious to this day. Thanks, Jeff, for the laughs. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. Especially GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY for what you put them through over the years, 😂😂, HAA HAA. All is FORGIVEN, AMEN.

I enjoyed that interview. I'm about the same age as Jeff but didn't know him at all until he started popping up on little reels and shorts recently. I grew up not wanting anything to do with Christianity but then later in life I got saved and had to break away from all the old life and bad habits. I used to not go to comedy clubs much back in those days because I couldn't afford them. Then later when I could I was a Christian and with most comedians having so much cussing and "shock" factors in their acts I couldn't take my wife to see them. So I never go to see stand ups in fear they would be like Redd Foxx or something. One way on TV and completely different on stage. Or I worry about paying a lot for a ticket and being all the same lines you have seen 100 times. I remember back in the late 70s going to see Steve Martin live. This was in his hay day of SNL and HBO and TV. So we went to see him live. Every line was what we heard 20 times already on TV. Like Jeff said, people listen to music over and over but don't want that with an expensive theater seat watching stand up. But I'm glad Dry Bar has helped bring more comedy out again. Thank you

Mormons call themselves Christians as well, but I don't believe they'd say they are believers. I think calling oneself a believer in the Lord, Jesus Christ is actually stronger than saying Christian.
