Clearing A Road - Land Development DIY

Hey everyone! Thanks so much for tuning in, I am really excited to develop this piece of property! My plans include a few small cottages down by the river that sustain themselves!
River water, solar power and good old fashioned fire for heat. I dream of people coming to stay, to reconnect and be in the beauty of the quiet forest. BUT FIRST......
In order to make those dreams come true I have to be able to access my land and get to the river! The right of way thats on the property now is overgrown and hasn't been maintained in what looks like decades.
I will update you through videos but if you have any questions at all please let me know in the comment. OR TIPS?! I check my page regularly so I would love to chat!

Yes for the most part, I work construction and have a few friends with heavy equipment. Our property is 400 miles away. They are going to help and have a place to go as well to camp and do whatever they want. I'm going to build the dock this spring just like your other video. Heading there this weekend to mark the road and just hang out. I had been trying to get property there for 10 years and it finally happened, I couldn't believe it.

@@joepotter8028 amazing! Congrats! It’s so nice to have a piece to venture to. We will clear most of it by hand but the road is really wet and we will eventually have to call in favours from friends also with excavators to ditch the road. So great to have a project. Have fun this weekend!!
