We use the Yeastar Linkus app, which looks quite similar, but there’s also a company wide contacts list with BLF. The other features are almost identical. But sound quality depends a lot on the WiFi quality (LTE is often better)

Chris, any chance we can get an updated version of this video in the near future? It seems there have been a number of improvements to Clearly Anywhere, including the ability to push BLF entries from the PBX side. - Thanks

Where does the recorded call save to, and what about the SMS messages. If the phone is lost how can IT dept retrieve the SMS messages and recorded calls if they need to retrieve SMS messages or calls.

So, I set this up on a FreePBX 15 box that uses OPUS and the Clearly Anywhere add-on module. I have an extension configured for PJSIP-TLS and SRTP... no workey! I turned off TLS on the SIP and disabled SRTP on the advanced tab for the extension in FreePBX and the clearly anywhere softphone then worked fine. Am I doing something wrong? Surely they haven't released a softphone app that doesn't support encryption!

Hello Chris, I got an error Unable to locate the FreePBX BMO Class 'Job'A required module might be disabled or uninstalled. Recommended steps (run from the CLI): 1) fwconsole ma install job 2) fwconsole ma enable job when i try to install the module. Any advice?

Don´t you use MEX in the US? where you connect your mobile number with a "regular" phone number that is passed thrue the PBX platform and by this you can call with the phones standard diler but still call thrue the PBX and the other way arround. then you just have an app that control your extension in the pbx. that is the main way PBX systems is sold here in sweden at least right now. traditional phones or even sip phones is quite fast dieing here. Telepo is one of the largest platforms for this.

Hi Chris & Crosstalk Solutions - On our PBX, I would like to do an end to end test of this softphone. This is evaluating for a purchase. Ive been communicating with Thomas Wrzesinski at your office. Thomas seems to not be able to setup a test license. Im looking for a time limited test license that I can use to evaluate. Can you assist?

It’s very shady that the website where you sell this license does not in any way say whether this is a monthly fee, a yearly fee or a one time fee. Or what exactly happens when you do not renew after a year (it seems to be a yearly fee according to the video here). Apart from that, I really like this! No trial of any kind though to check if it even works before buying 😢

Should I ditch Google Voice for this? Just started using it and call quality has been pretty bad several times.

Google Voice is basically dead for FreePBX.

Google moved away from XMPP and went to a proprietary SIP configuration basically killing off the Google Voice Motif in FreePBX. Technically using GV with FreePBX violated their ToS anyway. From my research there is not an alternative. The only method now is buying SIP trunking services. It sucks, but this is the reality of our FreePBX world now.

I have, but 3CX has really changed, and in my view not for the better. I use an old version (6.0) and it still works great. It is very hard to find the original exe these days though. The company itself really made things more difficult because now you have to create an account with them to use the product. It's not really a standalone anymore like the one I have is.
