In a rousing speech to close out the DNC, Hillary Clinton accepted the Democratic nomination, marking the biggest achievement for women since they won the right to bust ghosts.

Stephen Colbert took over as host of The Late Show on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. Colbert is best known for his work as a television host, writer, actor, and producer, and best known for his charity work teaching English as a second language on Tunisian date farms. Prior to joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed “The Colbert Report,” which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one third of the time. Good luck, Bill!"

Just imagine if Hillary said: "I'm so happy of being here on this stage tonight, but I believe we need a sure win against Donald trump, I have too many scandals behind my back and my opponent was against the odds. Therefore I refuse the nomination and give it to Bernie sanders, the only candidate with positive approval ratings who can defeat Donald trump. He is a man of the people who has been consistent with his ideals throughout his career."

"Believng in Science" doesn't mean you believe what scientists say, it means you believe the scientific method to be a good way to get information about the world. And it really doesn't take a leap of faith to believe in the scientific method, which just means developing a theory from an observation, putting it to the test, changing what doesn't agree with the new observations, and repeating. If you believe that's areasonable way of finding out things about the world, then congratulations, you believe in science. And yes, then you study and learn what people have found out in the past using the scientific method, and if you are a scientist, you learn how to keep putting those findings to the test to test the boundaris of the theories, or maybe even disprove some, and make your own...

this is philosophy 101. what is knowledge? including the knowledge in science? the definition of knowledge is justified true belief (unless you are talking about gettier case, more on that if you want to), because it is impossible to study something, even an empirical observation, without belief.

Oh please. Firstly, even if I was for the man and not the idea, that BY DEFINITION would make me a Bernie supporter. Also, It is for the idea that Bernie is now asking us to vote in Hillary. He isn't saying the fight is over. All he's acknowledging is that not enough people supported him ( democracy is a bitch that way) for him to take it on as a President. However, he has pushed most of his agenda points ( 15$ min wage, free college education, removing corporate money in elections etc.) onto the Democratic platform and is CLEARLY saying the fight has to continue and people have to show politicians their power! But Hillary will help the ideology more than Trump. Can't you see that?

We don't necessarily hate Hillary personally. Her likely decisions as president are not what we see as a good direction and her history of judgement calls are notoriously bad. Many who are in solid blue states will be voting for Jill as a way to communicate to our leaders in the only way that matters to them, our vote (protesting doesn't do squat).

Here's how it works: Kaine was the former DNC chair. He stepped down in favour of Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Hillary needed Debbie to secure the primary so in return she promised Kaine the VC position for stepping down.
