They show emotion, and u can feel their pain, and it's disturbing seeing them wail in so much agony, and it looks way more excruciating and brutal. This was like an agent 47 style of mercilessly killing someone like nothing. It's definitely unrealistic looking, and all the brutally violent scenes like that in the movie r just as cold-blooded, too.

Fun Fact: Flour and many other carbohydrates become explosive when they are hanging in the air as dust. It only takes 1 or 2 grams of dust per cubic foot of air (50 or so grams per cubic meter) for the mixture to be ignitable. Flour grains are so tiny that they burn instantly. When one grain burns, it lights other grains near it, and the flame front can flash through a dust cloud with explosive force. Just about any carbohydrate dust, including sugar, pudding mix, fine sawdust, etc., will explode once ignited.

I didnt know that metal dust can burn until i worked at a place that did nickel and chrome plating. The funny thing is, that's actually what thermite is, aluminum metal dust and iron oxide (rust) dust mixed together. Its so weird. Metal doesn't burn or explode when exposed to heat, its actually really good at absorbing heat. But, when you grind it into a fine dust, suddenly it can burn and even become explosive. They also did the polishing too. They'd get the parts in, then the parts would have to be polished by hand on these huge a$$ belt sanders, then they would get plated. The polishing process would create a LOT of metal dust, and the place was old and not up to code. I felt bad for the guys that had to work back there. They looked like they worked in a coal mine. Of course they were almost exclusively migrant workers too. Anyways. There would be a lot of metal dust piles all over the place, and the metal dust got freaking EVERYWHERE. When I would go work on a machine, I would have to use an air wand to blow a lot of sht off just so I could see the connections and sht properly. You always had to be really careful where you were directing any type of sparks. The metal dust wouldn't burn like a normal fire though, it would smolder and get really hot. Half the time you didn't even know that a pile of metal dust was actually burning until you either got too close to it, causing you to feel the heat, or, if you moved the metal dust. If you moved it, you would suddenly see a bunch of sparks and a bit of flame, and you would see the red, hot metal dust that was smoldering. It really sucked when that sht would start burning on wires or anything electrical. It would melt sht and cause things to short out sometimes, and it was a pain in the butt to fix, especially when they were working in there and metal dust was in the air. They would usually have like 20 machines running at a time, and the whole area was only like 50 ft by 120ft. This was about 8 years ago or so, back when i was only about 25.

That's why grain silos and such have big ventilators. I had an instructor level a brick building on us with a can of baby powder and a detonator from a grenade. He walked in, threw the can down hard and powder went everywhere. He pulled out the detonator, pulled the pin and yelled "You have three seconds to get to a safe distance!". We all went out windows, doors etc. The place went up in flash and a bang.

Wounded pride. He told his old commanding officer that the third bullet was going in, that was the basis of his threat. He could've taken the 4th shot to do it, but it'd mean he wasnt as good as he thought and that he has no sort of 'code' left at all. It's sort of an 'over the line' thing where despite how much Pascal had been saying it doesn't matter who he kills anymore, it's all just numbers etc. It's a kid in there and he couldn't even make good with his threat to hit him on the third shot. If he took that 4th shot on the kid, even if he came out of it alive somehow, he'd transform into a complete husk. I doubt he'd be able to hold his daughters again.

Best thing about this scene is the fact McCall gather Pascall and his group to deliver a dire warning for what’s about to happen, and literally told them he can only eliminate them once, and wishes he can do it again cuz Susan was his own best friend. McCall, then, have them invited to his own hunting grounds, which is the old town where he and his wife uses to live in. Despite Pascall and his small band being smugged and arrogant cuz McCall was the only lone wolf in the opposing team, they forgotten that this wolf is skilled and silent behind the shadows and outta sight, and will strike his fangs at the right time. So, McCall made all of the forces regret their decision into coming into to his hunting grounds. One got harpooned, another got slashed painfully by the wolf’s “claws” without mercy, and the third and last got disemboweled, left to watch his painful regret. Now, another big mistake was Pascall taunting McCall by threatening death to a teen that had no intention to be in this mess. As a result, McCall made this dude feel every pain while finishing him off, even going as far as to paralyzing him. He made Pascall understand that his life as a mercenary did him no good to anything in his life while his own family doesn’t know his true nature. He made Pascall understand that he has no code of honor for treating his targets like body counts. And best of all, he made him feel everything Susan had to feel when being put down, but way worse.

The sight he's using is a thermal so why is it showing a color image? I swear that whoever they hire as firearm consultants don't know shit about guns and accessories. This is on the director too.

What's kind of annoying about this, and similar movies like Hitman and any Ninja school movies... you have 50 guys going through the same training regiment, but there's that one special guy that is so much better somehow, he can kill all of his former mates easily after he turns rogue. It's fine if they bulldoze through street trash thugs and mobsters, but can he at least take some hits from people who are supposed to be as good as him? There are no stakes, i'm not invested in Denzel actually being in danger, i'm just watching him kill alleged top skill agents easily in a gory fashion. Boo.

The part where he gets thrown against the railing. That was the wind right? He yells like he did it to him, but all it showed us are some ropes or something flying up from the wind.

Everyday swear words (like f...) must be muted, but the most brutal bloody killing scenes shown in pornographic detail - should be watched. In what universe does that logic make sense? Hypocrisy...

honestly this scene was a confusing mess. why didnt the sniper just keep firing rounds into the back of the car? i was anticipating that he was going to reload and McCall would use that time *somehow* to scale the vantage point but. the dude just flips out for no reason and then a previously unseen like, cable whip fucking blasts him like... okay? plus the edit at the start where the sniper shifts his position to the same position twice... meh. feels like they just threw the movie together.
