I can't believe people are not educated enough not to throw stuff down the toilet. It should never be done even with city sewer. As a plumber I tell my clients not to flush any of those things down the toilet. Most of us on Cape Cod have private septic systems. Some just never learn.

You can tell them one family at a time. People don’t know/ don’t care. My understanding is some wipes are supposed to be flushable but aren’t.

@@rufusmedrano2962 Any ageing pipework, in this case metal, with have numerous sharp edges or protrusions waiting to snag wipes, its practically a certainty unless you replaced the pipework with smooth PVC.

Bit of pressure on that pipe, Great fix as always. The inserting of the new caps and the calibrated taps afterwards with the hammer by the drain-unblocking expert is always a pleasure to watch. Thanks, Donald, for a great video.

Barf, that is the nastiest toilet bowl I have seen in sometime. But I can't talk too much tho. I have to take an iron supplement for my kidneys & it makes my poop dark green. I know this is TMI, but what can you expect on a plumbing video? Donald, great unblock & nice scenery at the end.

Interesting to see how the trap edge starting to fail like that. First time I think we've see that as evident as this one. So here's my question dude, I assume you and the company does trap replacements? And if so, usually how long of a process is that to usually do?

No, we dont, but in this case, where the trap is not buried under concrete, it could be done in a couple of hours.

That's below ground level and inside an attached garage. Temps will stay above 40 degrees as long as the garage door isn't left open all winter.
