If those 2 had been given 1 line of dialogue each this scene would have been PERFECT. This is what a lot of people want. Its what I wanted from 2008 clone wars but getting 8-12 voice actors together is hard apparently.

Yeah the prequels didnt do a good job fleshing out each council member. From this clip alone we get a lot of context of who they are and what they believe

We know how obsessive and possessive Anakin's love for Padme becomes due to his fear of loss, and here when he wraps his hand around the hologram as if to hold her and keep her, she slips through his fingers. I don't know for sure if that's what the creators intended here, but if so it makes total sense. Nice catch! :)

@@Historyandlegends789yeah obi wan literally just became knighted when he was taking in anakin he wasn’t ready which isn’t his fault plus he was also too by the book even qui gon knew when to ignore the council and trust the force. It really puts the duel of thr fates into perspective bc even tho Obi wan avenged qui gon by defeating maul the damage it did to anakin a growth was catastrophic as anakin needed a father figure and he looked to obi wan as such but obi wan saw him as a brother which shows the disconnect. He really did need qui gon to be the Jedi he was meant to be. I miss the real Star Wars and the complex and human relationships that defined the story much deeper than space battles without substance :/
