The parts where you can drive right up to the lake are my favorite. I know it’s not technical, but such a cool spot in our state

awesome trail, awesome video. I'm glad I got to do it before the temporary closure. I'm hoping to get out there again in the fall.

I just hope that new fire wasn’t so bad that it prevents the area from opening up agin.

@@Trail89Adventures Yeah hopefully, I've looped at the map of the fire online, looks like its mostly to the west of the trail but who knows how accurate those maps are.

OnX rates this as a 7/10 for difficulty. This is for the off-camber and big holes.

Unfortunately, the forest service extended the closure through September 30th, 2024.

Hello Todd, I'm new to off roading and love your work. I do have a question. Do you have skid plates on your jeep. I plan on going on the type of trails you run. just wondering if I need to spend the extra money. Thanks for the help and Keep up the awesome work !!

Hi. Thanks for watching and the feedback on the videos. Glad you enjoy them. As for my Jeep, I have a Rubicon model so it came with some basic skid plates from the factory. I have not added anything additional from a skid plate perspective. Any video on the channel that was posted prior to the video titled "Rolls 1343" shows my Jeep with a stock Rubicon lift and stock Rubicon 33" tires. I ran it that way for several years and it was very capable right off the lot. I decided to lift it and add bigger tires over the winter so any video from Rolls 1343 and newer shows it with a 3.5" lift and 37" tires. I will tell you the Telegraph Line Trail video pushed my Jeep to new limits. You heard some noises on that video of the tires rubbing the inner fenders and my front drive shaft rubbing. Was on three wheels a couple of times as well. I wouldn't take a stock vehicle on that trail. Hope that helps.

Excellent video! Looks like a spotter would come in handy in places. Did the new fire close this down again?
@Trail89Adventures2 ай бұрын
I believe the fire has closed it down until June 17 was the last I saw on it. A spotter would definitely come in handy in a few of these areas.

Hey Todd. What's all that creaking and popping noises? You have tire rubbing or something? Lots of noises coming from that jeep. A group of my friends from Arizona Broncos did that trail... All IFS. Some definite 3 wheeling with IFS 😊Nice video bub
@Trail89Adventures2 ай бұрын
HaHa yeah I know. Couple things. This trail will put your suspension to max flex. Some of the noise was tires hitting my inner plastic fenders and I believe my front drive shaft was rubbing as well. I have a new / longer one but haven’t put it in yet. Little more work to do after adding 3.5” lift and 37” tires.

@@Trail89Adventures yeah man get some aftermarket inner Fender liners.... some metal ones, they will give you more clearance. DV8 make some nice ones

I’m guessing it’s currently closed due to the fires
