Fabulous- I use to always wear the red lipstick that suited my skin color-never thought about what shade of red clothing I was wearing-Now I understand!!! The red suit pants make your legs look a mile long!!!! I LOVE that suit set!!!!!! I love red!!!! But my favorite color is #Trinnylondon YELLOW!!!!!!!! xo

Closet Confessions is a gem. I learn why some ideas work and others don't. You stimulate creative ideas about tailoring and combining old favorites in new ways. Any time you talk about colors and fit, I learn something new. Where to hem different trousers relative to cut, ankle shape and footwear. You always have ideas on how to choose silhouettes for a body type. Where next? Maybe you could use Chloe or Lucy as a case study to build a capsule collection? How about in-depth thoughts on choosing the right cut and fit of trousers, jacket, skirt, and coat for various body types? Where to invest, where to save? You did a packing discussion for the trip to Australia...you could do others. Traveling for a wedding....how to choose for a dressy hot/cold destination. Really, it doesn't matter. The subject is just the coat hanger on which you drape insights about everything else. Like, red lipstick + "soft" earrings? A discussion about belt widths and their uses? Where else will we find a brilliant, practical ideas like that?

Love the blush blouse with the red and the pale pink top also. Right on time, as I bought a red blazer recently. I was wearing it with distressed denim and white muscle tshirt. I will definitely look at blush now too. Trinny does colour so well. Wonderful tips here.

I love the energy of red. It is so bold. I have a pink dress with a red hem. Wow!! Since wearing that dress I have started the red-pink combination and it just works!! Why is that? You looked stunning in each outfit. The pant suit is so versatile and really extends your wardrobe. Just add a top and you are good to go.

Red is definitely a tricky colour for many.There are a multitude of shades and probably raspberry is the best one for my skin tone. It’s not a colour I’m drawn to naturally but I think it can look stunning.Also,I love red lips and not much eye make up but having thinner lips make that tricky too!

Thank you for this video! Red is THE hardest colour for me to wear. Finding the right shade near my face is a nightmare! Thank you for the ‘clear’ skin and makeup suggestions and how to pair red with pink. That would be my primary choice of colour combination. I think it’s just fabulous! loved this play with red, thank you so much Trinny and sweet Lucy! My faves were actually the pink shirt, aqua shirt and velvet trousers and light blue pinstripe shirt with red. I love red being blond and peaches & cream and often wear it with white and grey. Its so true what Trinny said about skin- red is only out to play when my complexion is clear and even. So its the most important tip. I'd love 6 types of shoes to have in closet confessions, being shoe addict ;)

Hi Trinny, thanks for these great tips! The thing I always struggle with is which cut of jacket to choose with all kinds of dresses (if I don't want to wear my warm coat or the short leather jacket for a more elegant look). The latest occasion I failed exactly there again was a funeral where I was wearing a tight black lace dress (just covering my knees) with a black blazer but somehow the cut of the blazer just did not work with it and I can't really tell why... Since we’re all heading into ‘trans-seasonal’ at both ends of the planet, could you look into sleeve lengths for us please? The right length can really make or break an outfit and is nearly as important as necklines? Including how you can scrunch, fold or lengthen sleeves to suit your body proportions? I really enjoyed this one, I love red and I think the principle to wearing any colour, so it suits us has to be adapting our makeup, I think you really sparkled in red as we all can. I really would like you to take on a shorts suit episode, Zara has some great ones especially the red satin one, I know it is out your comfort zone however I feel it may surprise you and many women how classy this can look when it is done right.

Would there be enough info to do a spot on how to dress in texture? Velvet, suede, leather, silk, shiny vinyl, pearlized finishes...and what effect does the finish have? I notice I hate the way I look in anything satiny and leather too and I'm not sure why. Thanks Trinny. I really enjoyed this one. I remember you saying at one point that you don't wear much red. That’s my question too. I see people pull off wearing one colour in various textures like silk blouse with leather trousers and linen blazer. I’ve just never managed to pull it off. Or people who successfully mix summer and winter fabrics. And can i wear leather pants with leather shoes? Or velvet blazer with velvet bag?
