Clownpiece is a fairy, she has an American flag jumpsuit, she is likely the scariest American fairy you will ever know.
Today is July 4th, so of course, it would be wrong to NOT make a video on a recently beloved Touhou girl! When one thinks of Clownpiece, one images her to be a kooky, cray-zee, INSANE girl who likes to hand Ls to her enemies, but, her lore goes much deeper than that. I've always imagined that demons and other varieties of hell creatures enjoy the suffering and madness of others (hence Clownpiece's love of pranks). Hell is generally pretty cool for them.

Clownpiece became a favorite of mine next to Flandre because of how unique they are both personality-wise and in concept.Clownpiece quite literally came from Hell, yet is somehow more of a kooky prankster, while Flandre seems to be an introvert who never had a social interaction in years and has godlike powers even though she’s just a child. I really adore characters like them when we see the big picture.Happy 4th, everyone!

Cutesy love, or PTSD flashbacks? Both of the above. Enjoyed this video~ Laughed right away at the _pichun_ sync, and continued to be entertained by the nice summary of all we know about this little clown. I already appreciate her wackiness in its simplest form, but it’s nice to have a rounded-out perspective of the manga, and her direct interactions with Hecatia there are so charming. _“Her ability to drive people mad breaks the fourth wall itself”_ -- Yesssss, well-said!!! That might actually be my answer for what I like most about her... It's similar to how I like Kogasa for *(“surprise!”)* popping up in random minor appearances you wouldn’t expect. As much as I never want to relive my LoLK experience -- if a character can leave that strong and that relevant of an impact on you, they’ve gotta be special. My other favorite thing is the cheeky lore behind why she wears the American flag.

I also read the Sangetsusei saga, i didn't like Visionaries' at first because i thought Clownpiece was a bit off together with the usual fairy trio of Sunny, Luna and Star. But it was actually pretty good and the story is pretty nice, Star Sapphire still the rigthful leader of the fairies though.

There are too many memes about this one fairy, way too many. Even Cirno can't compete. There is "american but actually greek"(and maybe brazillian because people call it hell in an unrelated meme, lol), there is "Mama Hecatia", there is "waifufairy"(Which in itself leads to a lot of uncontrolled internet-chaos. It's fun to see people fight each other, as long as I am not involved), there is the official misspelling as "Crown Piece", there is even an entire subcategory of shenanagans related to clowns themselves.(My favorite being the comic where the fairies of light want to be entertained by her and Clownpiece goes full killmode on their vibe and throws a tomato at them) 3:28 Lmaooo 4:02 "I disown you, but I still own you!" 5:24 Otherwise known as the cheattorch.

“Hecayshaa”?? What?? Some of your pronunciations are weird. I have never heard anyone pronounce the name Hecatia as “Hecayshaa” given that her name is derived from the name “Hecate”. The goddess that Hecatia is based off of. But yes, Clownpiece is definitely one of my most favorite Touhou characters although I ESPECIALLY love Hecatia, my top fav (aside from my other top favorites consisting of Yukari, Junko, Okina, Flandre, and Reimu for example).
