The expectation that Chris Licht could save CNN was unrealistic at best and fantastical at worst. His biggest mistake was allowing Donald Trump to platform CNN during the recent townhall.

I was one of the many who boycotted watching CNN since the Trump hall announcement, and now that he is out, I will begin watching at least some of the shows like Erin Burnett. Still will not watch not others like Dana Bash and Jake Tapper, who are terrible.

The problem was not reporting facts through journalism. The problem was that they gave too much credence to made up right-wing "facts". I'm for conservative thought if it is correct at that moment, but most of the time it is not based in fact it is based in feeling, or anecdote (a singular sensational instance).
