I see from the comments below that there are many ignorant people who still believe the lies they have been fed. I support you Malala. You are amazing. I will pray for your strength and courage everyday. You must go on and continue the path you are on. I give thanks to God (and I am a Christian) that you are my sister in faith and I am proud to share my love of God with you.

i think it is very rude that the interviewer says she comes from a "VILLAGE in swat valley" and therefore NYC must be "AMAZING". swat valley looks like a heaven on earth and it's malala's homeland, it is extremely disrespectful.

What an incredible human being. What a breath of fresh air. What a gift to humanity. What I have difficulty with is believing that she is only 16! And already she has the world at her feet. If there ever was an election for the world presidency I can't think of many candidates to fill that post but she would have my vote in a heartbeat. Movie stars, and world leaders, you're on notice. Here's someone you could learn a thing or two from if you are brave and honest enough. I'm 56 years old by the way. Thank you Malala for being Malala.

OceanBreeze Oh my dear friend Ocean Breeze ( don't not know your name ) what does my name have to do with my name ? No i can't change my name .. and i would never change it just because "someone" on youtube want me to , are you crazy dear ? you want me to shut the hole of my face, and let anyone defend the "ASS"(malala) of the country? if some is wrong, i will speak.. if i don't like someone i will say it.. Malala loves her country soooooooooooooooooooo much that she never return to her home ! why ? can't she die for the sake of her country?? I suggest you to change your name .. coz frankly, Ocean Breeze makes no sense (to me).. its like breeze of the ocean is commenting on you tube .. ha ha .. get it ? no ..? aah well . . . please do not advise me, there are so many people .. talking about her.. talking sh** worst then i am .. there is a funny poem too.. you should read it.. i hate malala.. she is only good for...... you know.. and plz don't mind.. madam/sir.. who ever you are.. have a good life.. stop taking these things so seriously.. :) Bye

Going to school and getting educated is every child's right in this world. One child, one teacher, one pen and one book can change the World is rightly spoken by Malala Yousafzai. Education is the only solution she says. My mother was a teacher, I know this truth from childhood. Hats off to this brave girl and her father. One Malala and her father changed the World. Thanks to the United Nations and Western world which responded to her campaign and helped her achieve her goals. 👍
