Do you engrave threw all the grey paint my first attempt was yesterday but didn't go threw all the way and when I cleaned it off couldn't see anything smh.any advice

yes it takes quite a bit of power to remove the coating and mine even had some small flames while i was etching and looks dirty when finished but after a clean up you should see the silver underneath.

The problem with WD-40 is if you plan to clear coat them after.
