Do you want to freshen up your lineout sessions? In this video we give 4 activities which you can deliver to work on key lineout skills of speed across the floor, speed off the floor, and stability in the air.
It shows how you can build a whole session coaching some key lineout skills, while also giving coaches opportunities to support the development of lifting technique and throwing.

I like this Kris! After watching this session there was plenty of elements that highlight key fundamentals that help you win a lineout! Speed across the floor, chose your space and jump! Top closed learning drill!

Thanks Kerry! Pleased you enjoyed it. What I forgot to mention in the video is the first 2 exercises allows us to get into some detailed technical coaching around the lift and jump. Then move into some chaos to put them skills under pressure. Most importantly it’s fun and engaging for the players as well.

@@TheBigBreakdownHQ Will do! One question tough about the last chaos exercise in the session . The positioning of the cones is not very clear to me.. 😅

@@Kamarenge Is this is the connect4 game? Basically just create a small grid (4 grids wide x 4 across) and make it as big as you want depending on the players you're coaching. Its probably a bit too big in the video to be honest. start small and increase the size.
