Yvan, with this product you used the foam applicator and with a circular motion as recommended by the manufacturer. Many other brands have coached the crosshatch pattern when using a Microsuede applicator. From your experience does the chemistry of the product differences create the need for various methods? I do understand your comments on the start and stop as I do a crosshatch swipe.
@Detailers-Business-Academy3 жыл бұрын
Every coating can be applied in circular motions or cross hatching, and every coating can be applied with suede or foam. Unfortunately many detailers get sucked into the sentiment that if it’s too simple or easy it can’t be good. Roar is trying to simplify by recommending the most efficient and ergonomic practices.

Hi! I am a Pan the Organise fan and saw you on his channel. You seem an expert! I wonder if you can help- I have a black c300 with CarPro ceramic + gliss. After washing and final rinse with 0ppm water I notice small black ‘dots’ on my car appear after morning dew- only on horizontal surfaces- yesterday I used a leaf blower to dry the car but it started to rain and so I towel dried the rest of the car. Now the side I used the leaf blower had the small dots this morning - look like water marks - (they came off easily with ONR as I didn’t want them to stay in case they penetrated the coating as you said in your video) - could the leaf blower effect be the cause of this do you think? Any other ideas? Only happens after dew in the morning. Thanks bud!

Is using a rinseless wash a good way to start the preparation to applying Graphene. Also which way is the best way to apply the grapheme? Crosshatch or circler like applying a paste wax?
@Detailers-Business-Academy2 жыл бұрын
I prefer circular motions, less risk of high spots.

After I clay bar can I just use wipe off from chemical guys Or do I really need to rinse off the car before I Apply a graphing coding?
@Detailers-Business-Academy2 жыл бұрын
@@gregmartin401 depends what your using as clay lube. Also before a coating it’s good to at least give a little pass with polish to deep clean the paint.

Hi Yvan How can I remove industrail fall out from my coated vehicle?
@Detailers-Business-Academy3 жыл бұрын
Ideally a chemical decontamination, apc, iron remover, water spot remover. Check with the manufacturer of your coating if this is approved by them.

Most coating companies provide the applicator with the coating. The Rag Company has good applicators available.

@@Detailers-Business-Academy Yes, but I want something close to what you were using, Round. Thank you so much, I thought you needed to use the crosshatching pattern, but now that I know I can use the circular motion I excited thanks again.

Basically, you need to cover the surface with coating, round, cross hatch, figure 8’s or triangles, the geometry is up to you. The one I was using came from Roar Coatings, do a Google search for round foam wax applicators, you should find something similar.
