I actually think the reason behind Sam and Miguel’s breakup was a very mature one. Don’t get me wrong I still found Xolo’s acting heartbreaking but I found it to be a very mature breakup

Agreed, and I honestly think Miguel as a character, was truly shown in episode 5 when he has that scene with Robby. His actions that led after that, truly define him as a character and shown everyone he is The Karate Kid. Atleast in my opinion. PS. I do like Robby this season more then I ever have. So I love where they're going with him.

I agree with you on that and even though Miguel wanted to fix their relationship he put his feelings side to give her what she wanted which was to break up even though technically she didn't really want that otherwise when she saw Miguel kissing this girl at the party she wouldn't have gotten so upset but she wanted to focus on herself figure things out and Miguel showed a lot of maturity by understanding what she was saying even though it was extremely difficult for him to hear those words I want to break up

It’s also great to see how even the antagonists turned out. Truth be told I was expecting Chozen and Mike to turn out like how Johnny was at the start of the show or worse, but it’s good to see that they grew into better men

I like that Sam breaking up with Miguel had everything to do with her and not him. It’s normal for people to want to grow individually and find themselves while being single, it takes the pressure down and makes it easier to focus on them. Also Johnny has multiple reasons to be scared, one he doesn’t have a job and two he wasn’t around for his first child so he has no idea what to expect.🤷🏾‍♀️ I appreciate him putting in effort even if it was premature..🤣

Yeah it’s definitely good that she’s focusing on herself but that’s always what she’s done, she said she needed time to focus on herself like that wasn’t what she’s been doing the entire series.

@@MsMojo014 I agree with you. I think Sam broke up with him because she felt lost, like she didn’t know who she was anymore, and it wouldn’t be fair to Miguel. I think it was mature for her to say she wasn’t okay and needed time. And he was really mature to agree, even if he didn’t want to. He just wanted her to feel better

@21:29 this scene made me cry a lot. I'm glad Sam acknowledged her mistakes, but it hurts on Miguel's end too. He clearly loves her, and he had hoped for a brighter outcome.

I just gotta say: THANK YOU PEOPLE for actually understanding and sympathizing with Daniel! I swear to gosh, I’ve seen at least two different channels thinking he was being the bad guy the first half of this season without even understanding why Daniel’s doing what he’s been doing.

9:08 - Hawk's hair is growing back and got a new tattoo representing Miyagi-Do!! It's awesome to see that the 3 boys (Miguel, Hawk, & Demetri) chilling out together while each of their girlfriends (Sam, Moon, Yasmine) are hanging out together with the boys at the tattoo shop & jewelry store and the girls at a restaurant & the spa! It looks the cockroaches under Johnny's couch has been living inside there for a really long time!! It was interesting to see that Mike Barnes is no longer the same person he was in Part 3, owns a furniture store, and he got to make amends with Daniel!! It was for the Karate Kid 2 and 3 antagonists to meet each other!!

The style Cameron was thinking of is Tang Soo Do, it's a real style of martial arts, being commonly called "Korean Karate." Its literally translated to mean the exact same thing as Karate-Do Irl, it was a precursor to Taekwondo, which Terry Silvers actor actually practices

I asked Hayden Schlossberg if the plan was to always have Barnes own a furniture store. He said yes, and that they almost named the episode “Barn Burner”, but he felt too many of us would figure it out lol

And here I thought I was the only one who had a problem with her behavior and how she treated Miguel that's all he's ever wanted was for her to be a little bit more she could have decided to quit karate but no she decides to rip out Miguel's heart so she can go find herself add a couple episodes later Miguel ends up making out with a girl at a party in order to stop feeling so miserable about The Break-Up then Sam gets upset when she sees him with that girl she runs away crying I mean what is Miguel supposed to do to be miserable..?

Miguel is a good boy but he has horrible luck. I would have kept that necklace considering it expensive. Daniel has PTSD from Terry Silver. Silver try to destroy him as a kid so I doubt he would stop.

Tang soo do's a real korean fighting style similar to taekwondo but the reason miyagi do had a problem with the master is because their master taught them to have no honor and do whatever it takes to win.

Please don’t hate me for this; but after seeing how Chozen and Mike turned out, I can’t help but view Johnny as kind of pathetic. Don’t get me wrong I love who he has turned into now, but looking back to the start of the show and how he let that one fight ruin/define his life and how the others grew better from losing their fights against Daniel, it’s just sad in Johnny’s case but it’s amazing for Mike and Chozen
