Johnny literally didn’t train in karate for 30 years and is even to Daniel who got future training from Mr. Miyagi. There’s a reason Kreese keeps saying Johnny was his best student. Plot had Johnny lose in KK1 but he has the same skills he did back then now but is older. Johnny countered the pressure point moves so that’s not going to be a key role playing move here. Barnes didn’t train in 30 or so years either and was holding his own against Chozen until it was stopped by Daniel.

@@mrkmoney1234 Young Johnny almost beat a Daniel with a bad leg, and he didn't really "counter" the pressure points technique so much as he didn't stand in a confused daze after getting hit with it.

In terms of the senseis fiigting, I see julie pierce winning 5 fights out of 5 because the 'woke' community would never handle a female losing to any single male including kreese, silver, larusso, lawrence, chozen or barnes no matter how much hilary swank looks like a dude....

@@themoviecritic1092 I never understood the hate for Sam’s character but the love for Tory’s character when both of them have been through trauma. if you can understand Tory’s trauma, then you can understand Sam’s, especially considering that Tory caused Sam’s trauma. (not saying this is you, just in general).

@@the_nikster1 Idk I understand her trauma but it just seems Tory has a LOOOT on her plate than Sam imo. Which is why I'm glad they had the scene of Sam going into Tory's home in this season I believe? Because she had an understanding of her situation, something she didn't necessarily take into account before. Yes, she created her trauma, and mental trauma sucks, but I think it kind of made her more of a douche in the end towards both Robbie and Miguel to an extent. And yeah, just because you're going through a lot of stuff, that doesn't give you the right to be a bully to others, but it's understandable why that route was taken

@@themoviecritic1092 oh definitely. going through shit never gives you an excuse to hurt others, and I’ve never excused Sam’s actions. she did some shitty things too; I just always felt like everyone was so quick to excuse Tory’s bad behavior just because she has a shitty home life, as if Sam can control her upbringing. it’s not her fault she comes from money and imo it’s never a good idea to compare people’s trauma. trauma is trauma and it affects you whether you’re privileged or not.

Sam is the best character in the show. Tory is trash and needs to die on a spike - alone where no one will ever remember her.
